Closer but no quite home yet, unless he’s commuting to Singapore. -

Nailed it.

There’s been a bit of discussion on the formation for next season. Some think/have suggested we will go 3 at the back. Nige touches on it during his club interview today. Sounds like we will be similar to last season. Around 5:15 for those interested.

I think that’s where he’ll end up, unfortunately. Feels like he’s waiting for Stoke before he does start knocking on the managers door, pushing to move.

Don’t jump on the calender just yet guys, wait until November when it will be 99p

Dwight Gayle and Andre Gray?

Kalas - Signed for Schalke04

I think we only find out when he decides, whether that’s resigning or he’s signed for a new club. My gut feeling is he’ll leave but we may not hear anything for a while. -
I’m happy to watch how pre-season and the rest of the window pans out before worrying about the XI for Preston. Whichever side NP selects, it should be competitive.

RIP. Always seemed like a manager players liked to play for.

Now that would be a decent announcement video! ..but I fear the same admin who put the bow tie under Dickies shirt, does not possess that level of creative vision.

Sky Sports piece on Alex today, for anyone who missed it/is interested. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11726/12906962/alex-scott-why-west-ham-and-others-want-bristol-citys-starboy-despite-potential-bumper-fee -
I think a few are missing the point you were trying to make, mate.

Buying team will say they got him for £20m, we will say we sold him for £30m. -
I have my suspicions too ?

I’m no Fordy but I’m pretty sure that it’s you(JJH) enjoying your time over on the Derby forum?@Jimbo123

Ahhhhh Matty, nooo! Anyone but Derby! Jokes aside, good luck to him. Did a great job at Southampton.

I imagine he read this by Piercy at BP “It will be interesting to see how Pearson uses Roberts with Jay Dasilva departing on a free transfer to Coventry City and City’s intended move for Joe Bryan collapsing, leaving Cam Pring as their only recognised left-back. But, equally, Rob Atkinson is the club’s only orthodox and specialist left-sided centre-back, with Kal Naismith increasingly deployed in midfield, and the 24-year-old isn’t due back until November following an ACL injury meaning Roberts could take on that role. The Robins are said to still hold an interest in AFC Wimbledon left-back Jack Currie, after three bids were rejected in January, which increasingly indicates that Roberts is being considered primarily as a centre-back alongside Atkinson, Zak Vyner, Dickie and Tomas Kalas, although the Czech Republic international is yet to agree on fresh terms with his contract expiring in just over two weeks.”

Goalkeeper for me. We seem to have decent depth in most positions apart from GK. Someone to give max a real run for his money… and talking of money, CM next if AS goes/we can afford to.

You ok fella? You don’t seem to happy about it?
