  1. It’s the hope that kills you. We may have been barking up the wrong tree but leave the 3 out, the wound is still fresh.
  2. The club will have only moved on from Bryan because he informed us of his intention to play overseas. You may have gotten the end result you wanted but it wasn’t because the club didn’t want the deal to happen.
  3. I wonder how many goals we’ve scored or chances created after Alex has broke the opposition press and released. It’s a bit or a travesty that a shanked shot or bad touch can end up counting as an assist but he gets no “stat credit” when he resisted Prestons press to play Nahki down the line for Sam Bell to score. I know who I think had the biggest contribution to that goal and it wasn’t the guy who got the assist or the guy who put the ball in the net.
  4. James, Williams, Scott, Naismith & McCrorie if needed plus OTC and King(if he re-signs). Looks ok to me at the moment.
  5. Changing room ejector seat. 3 from outside of the box next season or the view to his left will be where Nige sends him.
  6. Come on admin.. there is only one way to announce this. Don’t mess it up.
  7. Apart from any 1st team appearances based add-ons, what else would he have triggered? No promotion or play-offs, nowhere near enough goals or assists, if any existed and no senior international call-up. At a stretch, possibly triggered one with the U21 call up but apart from that, what else?
  8. Post reporting fee is £1m up front with a further £1m in add-ons https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-transfers-live-mccrorie-8495405
  9. Unfortunately at the time, for me socialising wasn’t really possible. The group I was with was 90% French with a few Africans. I was the only British guy and the French had no interest in building relationships or even attempting to communicate with me, despite speaking to each other in English(which was quite funny to be fair). The African lads were great though, i was put in a hotel with one of them and the others made me feel welcome. I was just woefully underprepared mentally and probably didn’t try to embrace the culture as much as I should have. I agree, the internet would have made a huge difference.
  10. Yes, I moved for work. I may be wrong but I’m sure Han’s father also acts as his agent? Which would mean he’s also earning a few quid, whereas I don’t think Alex Scott’s father does.
  11. At 18, I moved to a different country on my own. It was a huge culture shock and I suffered badly with homesickness. Some people take to it and adapt better than others, regardless of what you’re there for and how much you’re getting paid. Alex Scott moving from Guernsey, while undoubtedly a challenge, is not the same as HNM moving from France.
  12. That leaves Pring fighting for a starting place like everybody else. Competition within the squad for places is good.

    Playoffs

What a tie! Hats off to Wednesday, incredible comeback.
  14. Back to the village he escaped. Hopefully Nessa will still be single and waiting.
  15. That little toad Jones is bound to take the job next, surely?
  16. He left school last year(St Bernadette’s) so 17 I imagine. Like you say, very promising.
  17. Can only have so many players on the bench, especially now we have players coming back to fitness. Why does there have to be a falling out? Left off the bench for balance reasons, I believe.
  18. Eerily similar to the trolly collection point at eastville Tesco
  19. Fair shout @Bcfcshags, you definitely earned your itk points with past signings and line-ups. This is a pretty big one and I hope for all our sakes that you’re spot on again.
