  1. I am clearly in the minority, but I really liked my trip to Loftus Road. The atmosphere was good even though we lost and I liked how close it felt to the pitch. Much better than the King Power Stadium.
  2. People who love to talk about freedom of speech are always so litigious. People who love to talk about freedom of speech are always so litigious.
  3. I agree with this overall. Despite his flaws I liked Trundle when he was here, and he did admit in the interview several times that his attitude was wrong and that Johnson despite his flaws actually achieved a lot. He probably wasn't quite fit enough for this level and the defenders are a lot sharper. He scored a 3 crackers I'll never forget though. I also think people bashing Gary Johnson for his man management would have a very different reaction if Famara Diedhiou or Nicky Maynard said that they had refused to take off their hats in training as they didn't fancy heading the ball, and also admitted they got pissed up before the start of the new season.
  4. This thread was such a trip. The sun were apparently outraged at this scandal, but rated the 2011 kit as our 5th best ever kit. The article was written only 18 months ago. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10338885/best-worst-england-kits/amp/ (Sorry for the sun link....)
  5. Alfie does some great videos. His one the other day which on the surface was about a football stadium that's never been built in Lithuania, but in reality the video was about Lithuania's political history for the last 30 years.

    Mbude.

Yeah fairly sure he has serious knee injuries that he never recovered from.
  7. They aren't very happy. The spelling and design all over the place. Also I'd be concerned that there are no pictures of this academy and no information on the coaches? They do have some good reviews already though at the bottom of the page. The one that says the academy is "top notch" particularly stood out.
  8. That's shit Nuneaton Borough is a name that feels like it's been around forever.
  9. I know a couple of Preston fans through work and apparently the football is awful hence the dislike of Lowe.
  10. They've taken it down now, but what a **** up. It would be like giving that lot part of Ashton Gate and decorating it with a Santa's grotto so they feel at home.
  11. RIP my old man used to wax lyrical about him.
  12. Yeah definitely came accross how much he respected Tinnion. Seems like Tinnion had a real aptitude with youngsters all the way through. Also interesting to see the contrast between professionalism at City compared to Reading. Sounds like they were leagues ahead of us. He scored about 20 goals in 50 games for Reading in the Championship and the Premiership so I reckon they got his best period due to the level. He never really hit those scoring heights again and I'm only an hour in. Were there injuries? He was amazing for us and seems he has a genuine love for playing now at Nuneaton. Did anyone see the Undr the cosh with Westley? Absolute David Brent with his business background and I had to give up on it.
  13. Birmingham fans I've seen are to exasperated to really show much emotion. Think it's a stupid decision, but a feeling of "typical Blues" when it looked like things were getting better.
  14. It's definitely this way around especially in football. It's always white people getting abused for the colour of their skin in games, and online. After England went out of the Euros the abuse white players got was shocking compared to our black players. Accross Europe it isn't Black players being racially abused with monkey chants, but white players are always getting racially abused on a daily basis and this is especially true in Eastern Europe. Not enough people talk about this, and I blame the MSM, WEF and Bill Gates for this tragedy. It's awful that white people now have to think if they are being racist before they say something that is definitely *not* racist.
  15. I've had it on my list for a while so will give it a read.
  16. I find that co-ownership thing really mind boggling. They are definitely doing great. I hope they don't end up like the Flying Donkeys. I used to enjoy watching them growing up and "adopted" them as the underdog. Weirdly in the away around 2009 at QPR there were a few Hellas fans who I had a great chat with. Good luck to Sassuolo.
  17. Think I've seen him talk about the money he was offered at a young age and how it was mind bending at the time. It was a good insight. He was very talented and it's a shame injuries really finished him off.
  18. Your obsession is getting a bit weird.
  19. Gary Rowett sprang to mind, but not sure if he went up with Burton. Couldn't see it when I had a quick look on wiki.
  20. Is it me or is there a weird hue to the display? Maybe it's just a lighting thing. And I agree with who said about the vidiprinter, but it's slightly off. Overall it's fine - I think it was a mistake to make the seats further away from eachother though. Obviously never going to replace Jeff, but I don't mind most of the people on and I'm one of a few on here who finds Clinton quite amusing.
  21. I felt some of the initial critical comments about our kits were over the top, but I generally don't care as I wouldn't buy one anyway. Some other clubs fans made positive comments about the third shirt on another forum I frequent - unfortunately they aren't the target market for Bristol City and they don't really care about the badge. Going retro has been in vogue for quite a while now with football kits, but even outside of that with the young ones. Maybe it's running it's course now. Got to say that jacket is definitely taking the piss! the bucket hats too are really off. Not for me anyway, but i can see the idea that was somehow executed poorly. The random Bristol City on the back makes it look worse. Seems it not just us that are confused about our identity as Aston Villa are going ahead with two crests this season much to their fans bemusement. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-explain-club-crest-27172830.amp The splat Robin kind of worked on the back of the Grey Hummel t-shirt, but it's bizarre they would push it so heavily with little communication and so soon after our other badge change. They are obviously trying to work out how to approach it, or just plan to ignore it and quietly drop it. It's clear Hummel were very good at getting the base ideas into clear marketable clothing. Those jackets a couple of years back were really nice for example. I don't think it matters who the brand are as long as they do a decent job and it's obvious that this year is all over the place. It all feels a little bit like the badge change around 2005 tbh.
