  1. Why are you insinuating the poster seems to think it was ok because it was an away day? @Lewisdabaron even put the word (sadly) at the end of if his post, emphasising a regular would be used to it because we have plenty of idiots at away games. Nowhere has he said it was ok as people are making out. Weird how people are slating some idiots for having a go at other fans at a match, then basically having a go at a poster on here for something they haven't even said. The actual irony. As for the OP, hope your old man is ok, I'm afraid we have plenty of morons at away games.
  2. I hope nobody reports them to the FA/EFL......
  3. My Saggie mate who is up there with the most optimistic and deluded you will ever find, even admits their fan base is very old and no new kids down there coming through. The fans just aren't there for them for a massive upturn, even if they managed to somehow go up. We've had the majority of the next generation coming to the gate, they suddenyl aren't going to get a load of new kids showing up in that shitehole. Times have massively changed, but they cannot even see it, and will bang on about their mythical Wembley crowd they have to make up.
  4. Exactly this, also if he does really well it will be "because Pearson done all the groundwork" from many fans. Everything points to the board wanting Pearson gone, and the way they handled it has been atrocious.
  5. Not me personally, but I do know one of the blue few who refuses to get anything red, refuses to shop in Sainsburys (because it was all their fault why they haven't got a new Stadium), and he also refused to go to Ashton Gate for his Covid jab! Nuts
  6. Unless JL can actually prove a number of the injuries we currently have (or previously had) was due to players not being conditioned correctly, Rennie has done something wrong or Pearson shouldn't have risked someone who then got injured, then the point on the number of injuries is meaningless. As there seems to be very valid reasons why the huge majority of our injured list are injured - through contact. Add in the fact he made a point of saying they had longer breaks than other teams to try and make a point of why he went with Pearson too, and yet Fleming told us yesterday that these longer breaks is something they have always done, so why not sack them back then? Maybe, just maybe this is the way to handle players with the way they play? I simply don't know, but I would trust a bloke who is highly thought of, rather than a bloke who has simply been told "others don't do it that way". It seems to me he has heard that from one/some others, and came to the conclusion that was the reason why we had all the injuries, without actually looking or asking the questions why we had all the injuries.
  7. Give him the job, and then he can then bring in Pearson as his number 2....

  9. Been the same for ages, I'm more surprised you can hear the actual questions. I generally stopped watching them because they were done so poorly, previous ones I have watched I had to go back and turn up the volume to hear the question. Non league pressers must be more professional than ours.
  10. Could they have their man already, but they are just giving us peasants the perception that they've been doing their due diligence AFTER Pearson has gone, lengthy process etc etc. If they came straight out and unveiled a new man on Mon/Tues everyone will know for a fact that they've gone behind Pearsons back whilst he was still here. Even though it is obvious that is what has happened, they will want everyone to think they haven't done that? Pure speculation mind.
  11. Not to the consultants on £800 per day.
  12. Maybe go and have a read back at your own responses to fellow City fans. Passive aggressive, condescending at every opportunity, and quite frankly no better than what you are accusing others of.
  13. This reminds me of a place where I used to work. Owner was overall pretty clueless but the business was making decent money (it really could and should have been a hell of a lot more). The owner then wants to make more profit, so all the management come up with ideas, R&D, more streamlined production planning, nope they don't like any of it. Next bright idea, get some consultants in for some ideas.... They go through all the processes and staff, want to change the way the business is currently working. Owner doesn't like the consultants now, they say too much and basically criticise how the business currently runs. So after spending tens of thousands for some new, bright ideas the owner is back to square one where the only way forward is "I know more than them and we will do it my my way". The attitude just reminds me so much of Lansdown and this club.
  14. This. I think many would begrudgingly accept something along those lines, still many wouldn't. But it would certainly be easier than the JL and Tinnion "interviews" earlier.
  15. The betting isn't even suspended, he's also been readily available at 1/2 with Betvictor for the last hour or so. Nobody has been trying to bet him at 1/2 as he would've been cut in price.
  16. It may well be, but Hughton was 1/8 I think previously and didn't come. There have also been a few very long odds on managers that never got appointed, a few on Betfair have been 1/33 and even a 1/100 and still never happened. If 1/6 was guaranteed then go and shovel on as much as possible and get a quick 17% on your money (mind you they will probably only let you have about £300 max unless you have a mug account)!
  17. If Nige was in charge and we did beat Wednesday and then got a result against QPR they would have found it very difficult to get rid of him. I honestly believe they were probably preying that Cardiff beat us, and then there wouldn't be such a backlash against them.
  18. Probably made their mind up after they beat us in August, maybe thought "we can do a Birmingham"
  19. It's based on a bias towards being massively anti Pearson
  20. This is probably a huge help for us, not paid and still have to play. Let's hope they are the ones who down tools when we go 1 up early, and then let the board have it from all parts of the ground. I really fear for the youngsters especially if we go behind and the atmosphere does get toxic and they take it that the fans are against any of them.

  22. Have you seen who we have running this club. May as well say it now. Welcome to THE club Gary Rowett.....
  23. The Tinnion interview just looks to me like he is trying to remember what he HAS to say for his answers, none of it is free flowing answers whatsoever. Also seems to me that he's basically saying Rennie has had to take the blame and responsibility for the injuries we have and that is due to Pearsons training. I assume Tins and Jon only agreed to the pathetic questioning with no follow ups, the interviewer should be gone too if he has agreed to that complete nonsense.
  24. They must really be preying for wins against Wednesday no matter who is in charge, because there is no way they expected this backlash. I fear for the youngsters on the pitch on Saturday if we go behind, it could get so toxic and they may take it personally.
