  1. Feels good to have the millionth reminder that Bristol is indeed red.
  2. Last two they lost to Stoke and drew with Argyle but prior to that they were on a 6 game win streak. Before the Stoke game their last defeat was in mid-September against Blackburn. Would be happy picking up any points on that one. Think QPR and Huddersfield are the must wins here for sure and I'd argue in their current form Norwich should be as well, no wins in the last 6 and 5 losses (and we'll see if Wagner makes it until then).
  3. And that in itself I also found out a little eyebrow raising, I always felt (and possibly I'm misreading the situation, I don't have a ton to base this on) one of the reasons SL was/is looking to sell was that Junior wasn't too keen in taking over the club long term and is more interested in other projects. Feel like I remember seeing some discourse about this at the time Fever Pitch was becoming a thing.
  4. He and Nige were very much joined at the hip, and after Curtis batted for him (and Rennie especially) last week I figured there was very little chance of him staying on. A shame because he always came across very well, a top bloke who was respected by everyone. Wishing Curtis all the best wherever his next destination is.
  5. From what I'm seeing it was only a one match ban which he would've served against Maidenhead last Saturday.
  6. Would've been helpful if the person who said it at the time linked the tweet with it, only thing I can find from Tinnion on twitter from October 29th onwards is him replying to someone about Sound of the City (though Fevs raises a good point about twitter not being great about this stuff in the Musk era). As for Manning, like another poster said, excited is a strong word but certainly intrigued at least to see what he can do here.
  7. I'm not sure it's just a coincidence that Oxford's little dip in form last month coincided with Brannagan being out injured.
  8. Right? This is the sort of thread we'd be mocking the blue few about (and they've probably suggested someone equally outrageous if I had to guess!).
  9. To be fair, there was one out there who was seemingly available but he just took the QPR job a week ago.
  10. Doing well in a top 5 league is his stepping stone, he's had a meteoric rise and so far with no prospects of slowing down (as another posted pointed out, he could literally be in a Champions League spot in a few hours if Reims beat Nantes). At this point I don't think he needs the Championship to get to the Premier League and at worst I could see him taking over one of the relegated teams next summer where he'll be backed strongly. We're just not that club for that sort of ambition, as much as Junior might think otherwise with the top 6 talk.
  11. People need to not focus as much on the betting odds, at the end of the day they matter very little. Like try to think about it for just a bit, why on earth would Still leave Reims, where he currently them in the european spots and was backed massively this summer with multiple 10 million pound signings, to come to a mid table Championship club that has been cutting costs for a few years? Let's be serious now.
  12. Coaching days are over it seems, not sure if it's official yet but it's basically an open secret over here that he's running for president at FC Porto.
  13. Another touch of class from Nige, though I don't think that comes as a surprise to anyone here at this point, that's just who he is. Makes it all the more upsetting that he won't get to see through all the work he's done here. Thank you for everything.
  14. Yeah, feel like ultimately it's the wrong timing for it happen.
