He's not the Messiah - he's a very naughty boy....
Colemanballs replied to bcfcredandwhite's topic in Football Chat
Not just in hindsight. Many were sceptical about relying on a combination of Vyner and Simpson to cover the RHS of defence at the time if I recaill correctly. I certainly was. Poor judgment on NP's part? Do you not agree though that, despite those constraints, he probably should have done better with what he's had available? See above ^^^^ My own view is that, on the evidence so far, as someone in charge of the match day eleven, whilst he's not been terrible, he's not been that good either, However, his contribution to the overall rebuild of the squad has been generally positive enough to justify giving him more time. Incidentally, as an observation not a criticism, your posting style of responding point-by-point within the OP's text, makes it quite tricky to reply to you. -

Through no fault of his own, if strong rumours are to be believed. -

Dumb question, sorry. What is IPTV?

All the managers are carp?

I was really excited by Pearson's appointment, but have increasingly become concerned by his apparent (lack of) tactical nous. For the time being, I'm still in the 'keep him' camp because I can see that even though, in my view, he has been underperforming with regard to results, he has been doing some positive stuff (promoting youth, clearing deadwood, etc.) under difficult circumstances that will benefit us in the long run. However, although I'm not yet ready to join the bedwetters calling for him to be sacked, I am becoming increasingly sceptical.

Another quick question. Is it possible to watch games on Robins TV 'as live' the following day?

Michael Knighton mark II?

I hope they go down. No issue with Everton, but (and you think you've got it bad) Burnley are my second team. Relatives from that neck of the woods, the first ever live game I attended was at Turf Moor when they beat Sunderland to gain promotion to the old first division in the early 1970s. Bristol City and Burnley. What did I do in my previous life to deserve this?

I'm by no means in the Pearson out camp, but I do doubt that Luton's squad should be 20 points better than ours.

Why do people feel the need to find a scapegoat when we concede? From where I was sitting, it was a really good bit of play by them. -

And we'd still be close to the play offs. -
I'm confused. I know they can't sell tickets, but what is to stop them giving tickets away?

Except you didn't teach. You just posted a condescending reply and then doubled up on the condescension.

Indeed, hyperbole wouldn't be appropriate, but he certainly didn't look at all out of place. Decent performance I thought.

Honestly. You are coming across as a bit of a ****. Can't you just enjoy the win? -
The assets have been frozen, not confiscated. This is about preserving the status quo pending eventual legal proceedings so that justice can be done. Without the freezing of assets, there is a high probability that they will be moved out of the jurisdiction avoiding justice.

Presumably the officials would be quite junior for a game such as this? Obviously, with the outages, didn't see much, but, from what I did see, they looked a darned sight better than most of the dross the first team get lumbered with on a weekly basis.

Same here.

kalas and Massengo both a 4 for me. Otherwise this. Dasilva and Pring both poor, but they were up against some proper quality.

That flick. Wow! Goal of the season if it'd gone in. -
More than a bit, but, if he stays fit, he could be a very significant player for us.

Good shout!
