Guilty of overthinking it for last match, much like LJ!

Will overload midfield for tonight as we didn't seem to have one on Sunday ...

    Smith (Palmer)

    Eliasson VC (Nagy)

    Paterson (Odowda)

So what happens if neither my captain or vice captain play??!!

Nearly forgot myself to be honest. Means all 3 of your picks can be from one position. So 3 defenders, or 3 midfielders, or 3 forwards.

(But not really 3 defenders, because that would obviously be foolish)

Yes very foolish, like picking a defender as captain!

Apologies @citywest30, didn’t spot your chip request last week. A reminder is certainly in order! Here’s what everyone’s still got available:

    All chips remaining: @jrt55555

    Overload & Best Of: @bissellredhead@citywest30, @Dogbert, @LeeJohnsonsFlatCap

    Triple Captain & Overload: @Chivs & myself

    Overload: @Chessels Chick & @Oubliette23

Also, I’m afraid there’s no truth in the rumours of a “Fan Frustration” chip, via which you receive points for how often one of your players is criticised in the match day thread.

What's an overload do please 🤔

The club are clearly still preparing a statement that will cover the premature announcement of refunds. I fully believe the email to be genuine as there is no attempt to fraudulently obtain money on that email and the email address itself is valid.  Maybe the key decision makers on explaining the error have not been available today.

I agree - the email isn't asking for bank details or anything and no link to click on for it to be a scam .... however is strange that would be a refund for just one match (if that's what it works out as)

Great post from @Olé - sums up the details better than I could!

Has anybody received the email once this has flared up on here? If noone has received one in a while, that would likely be a further sign it was a club operation and perhaps just went out a little prematurely and has been put on hold...

I had email at 16:58 - receipt for refund of £22.34

He came over very well. Seems to be a very nice young man. He replied to a number of general questions very well. A lot of people asked if he would be playing for us next season. He said nothing. I expect he was told to avoid those sort of questions. Which is a great disappointment

But he did reply to say he'd rather score 0 goals and City go up than score 25 and stay in Championship....and then he'd want to go on and score 30 goals for us in the Prem!

  7. Here's my take on it for what it's worth!

I don't want/won't be looking for a refund for this season - that money is gone, done and dusted, much as the payment for tickets to see The Red Line next week (I donated the money to Bristol Old Vic when they rang yesterday)

Next season is a different matter - paid for on credit card with it due to be paid in May when I have no income coming in for the foreseeable future (self-employed football coach working in schools) a refund would be great to help me pay the bills!

To be fair to @JerrySLO he rang me personally to reply to my email stating the boards of each sport are constantly meeting to discuss options and a refund might be a possibility in the future. In the meantime he suggested I move to a cheaper seat to reduce my payment - soI will be leaving my seat in the Dolman after more years than I care to mention! Looking forward to more leg room next season (whenever that might start!)

Gregor has very deliberately put the words 'Wasn't good enough recently' within speech marks, so yes, it must be assumed to be a direct quote.

He might have done in his tweet but in the post article that purports to be word for word says different ....
