  1. You wouldn’t have thought there’d be so many bites. Surely there’s still some left over turkey or chocolates to alternatively nibble on instead?
  2. Was told many years ago by an ex chairman that the income was slightly ‘manipulated’ from ticket sales and attendance figures were generally lower than the actual figure. As for why they are potentially saying more than the actual; this remains unanswered and actually unconfirmed, what with digital turnstiles. And as for Bob. There were 1234 season ticket/card holders not in attendance today. Confirmed from SLO and I asked at the ticket office. So just as credible as her 7k figure. Also I did not attend today. Pasture (not Wetherspoons) was a better option this afternoon. The Chateaubriand was calling my name Ohhhh the snobbery
  3. Yea I did see the Spiderverse movie and it seems to have done well on critical acclaim.
  4. Anyone seen both Venom and Aquaman? Heard similar(ish) comments from both and thought a comparison would be good. I’ve not watched Venom yet, but may have some time to get to the cinema and watch Aquaman. Or I may be better off watching something else...
  5. Rovers. Less than 10 miles from AG. Stupid question.
  6. Oh no you didn’t go and take it seriously!
  7. Oh yea, Freddy HindsIGHT Good retrospective shout
  8. Yes we are indeed an average Championship side with some arguably top players who I think can play in any top 6 side in this league. As mentioned, the midfield is the weak area. I think we should really be looking at paying £5M+ on a big athletic box to box African-esq (Yaya Toure style) player. I know he got sent off this weekend (shouldn’t have) and I know it’s a PL example, but someone like Anguissa at Fulham would do a world of good for the spine of our side. The French leagues are littered with these type of players and there has to be a few that would move to this league. If we maintain as we are, we can sneak up the talks and have a good go IF we are shrewd in January. The main problem City have is when they want a player, other clubs jump in front of us in the queue and that put us down the pecking order. It may potentially be due to our scouting system, which may be pretty good compared to our rivals in this league. Like we do the work and the others wait in the lurches.
  9. Kelly’s approach is generally cautious so the yellow card must’ve really affected him. Plus he’s still young so more difficult to deal with.
  10. It literally comes at a price at this level though! That’s my counter point. Yes the game is entertaining though, although I’d have to be slightly biased and say the atmosphere when it’s City v Rovers is better, plus that segregation is very tame
  11. What would it matter if LJ is watching? These two teams are spending unreal amounts of money which we don’t have at our disposal. We are mid table Championship, anything better is a bonus.
  12. They can fek off to the mem, being used to shit stadiums n all.
  13. Not being overly sceptical, but DC come out with some good trailers, however a number of their films have been disappointing. Will probably wait until a few critics/reviewers have done a piece on it before deciding whether to watch it in the cinema.
  14. It is indeed. Some very sad and lonely people about, that person managing that twitter account being one of them.
  15. Isn't Love Island a gameshow? Either way, what a load of shite! Anotger recent show that easily springs to mind is Ninja Warrior
  16. Lee Johnson and co are very good at nurturing players. Brownhill, O’Dowda and Eliasson all had ‘slower’ starts to their careers at the club. Walsh is the same. He is being given time to develop and show his abilities. Not surprised if he doesn’t become a regular this season, or at least until the final run in/last couple of months. Fine with me. The majority of players are young and improving. Very good things are going on at the club. Stability and development is better on the long run, rather than expecting it trying to pay for instant success, ie promotion.
  17. What you mean fast tracked? Terrible pun?
  18. GoT Lost (goat emoji made to look odd by the forum, obvs)
  19. As long as it’s not a Qashqai! Plentiful riddled with faults. Walk into a Nissan dealer and most days the workshop is full of them needing repairs, quite commonly expensive ones. Not saying they are all like that, but they seem to be problematic. That’s what all the guys at the dealers I speak to say as well, so not so much ‘just’ my opinion.
  20. In terms of boot space, it’s not always SUV’s that come out on top. The Auris Touring Sport (estate) has a fair size boot and performs well. Not low down and comfortable to drive CHR offers a more advanced driving position, but the shape of the car does compromise some boot space. Hope that helps.
  21. I would say have a look at the Toyota CHR Hybrid. They are self charging hybrids. Do away with any idea of anything that requires a charge point, like the Leaf. The infrastructure is not really there still in the UK. I’m getting a CHR in the next 6-9 months when my current Auris Touring Sports is due renewal with my work. I will also say that my current vehicle is really good if you want a practicable estate vehicle.
  22. 3 games in 6 days. Is this being forgotten? If they were able to steam past all the teams we played after a 4 game win streak then we would be walking the league. Not going to happen. Have a bit of a reality check FFS
  23. Why he not be given the Section 35? You can’t diagnose him on the spot then decide against it. If anyone acted like they had mental issues and could get let off, then that would be seriously stupid. Why it’s being questioned is also stupid. Stupid
