  1. I feel for you mate I really do. I can buy a season ticket but just not use the instalments. What annoyed me was my reason was legitimate. I genuinely could no longer afford it but no compassion was shown.
  2. I just want to warn you all that if you cancel your DDs the club will ban you from using DD in the future. It happened to me a few years ago. I lost my job before the first payment was due so contacted the club and said it was unaffordable for me and was told fine but you are now banned from using DD.
  3. SL once sacked a manager after reaching a play off final so I find it hard to see how LJ can survive. Don't forget publicly SL stated progression on last season was the minimum requirement. As we won't better last season if SL doesn't act decisively and sack LJ how do we take his comments seriously in the future?
  4. I totally agree with you. His one tactic appears to be how do I not lose but he can't even get that right.
  5. I don't think he bottled it I genuinely believe that he doesn't have the ability or know how to take us further.
  6. The really worrying thing is despite how poor we are and how inept LJ is SL still won't sack him. LJ has survived far more vociferous calls for his head
  7. I really hate picky people but Kick offs are 6pm
  8. I think that is a little harsh on Magnussen as he did settle the issue was really whether he was a CB or LB.
  9. He also played for us. Albeit shortly on loan.
  10. At the start of the season we were hearing he may get the sack if we don't get top six. For me that still stands.
  11. Yes that's right. The old shop was next to it. It ended up being used by stewards and game security as an office
  12. Yes and when they knocked the 1980s club shop down for the Superstore at the corner of Williams and Atyeo programmes from away games were sold from a hut in the Winterstoke Road Car Park
  13. Agreed, Consumer Law will always trump a set of T & Cs like these.
  14. You are spot on. If an item has been mistakenly priced then the shopholder has the right to remove the item for sale. My lecturer always used to drum into us that in a supermarket, the labelled price was just the offer and we could make a counter-offer. The seller than then reject. In my view City had to offer a cash refund as they would fall foul to Consumer law in that the item paid for (ie a seat at Ashton Gate Gate) has not been provided.
  15. Not sure whether this has been mentioned before but one sign we are on the up is that we are no longer considered to be fans but consumers instead
  16. Yeah that extra 0.75% will make all the difference
  17. Thanks for putting me right. I just assumed everyone was GFA because all the club's in my old league were.
  18. I remember at one point both managers agreeing it was too intense for a pre-season game and players were picking up injuries so it was agreed to scrap it
  19. They were delighted because our win meant Sheff Wed were in the play offs instead of automatic
  20. So did anyone actually watch this last night? Thought it was okay but nothing special
  21. All Bristol clubs going down to parks level are members of the Gloucestershire FA
  22. I missed this game as t was the day I flew home from Florida. When I left the hotel we were 4-2 down and didn't know the score until getting home from Gatwick on the Sunday. My dad said didn't City do well and I thought he was taking the piss.
  23. In the past it was Zebra Finance I believe. They seemed to have a contract with many league clubs at the time
  24. Matt, just a warning mate. When I cancelled my DD a couple of seasons ago before the first payment was due (had to as had lost my job) I was informed I could never have DD again. I told them the reason I was cancelling too.
