  1. We didn't though a horse was punched outside the Wellington by a drunken sag against Oxford a couple of years ago https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/woman-seen-punching-police-horse-628590
  2. That was James Quinn It was a Leroy Rosenior hat trick
  3. I plan to hold off from buying. If I miss out so be it. I don't know what my job situation will be like in three months time.
  4. Having seen Dynamo Minsk play live they are my team. You cant beat the half time snack of garlic black break (you can beat it, it is disgusting)
  5. I was flying home from Orlando. Long before smart phones. When I left we were 4-2 down. Didn't know about the comeback until Sunday afternoon back in Bristol
  6. I was there that day. Don't remember much as was pissed from the night before still in Blackpool. Remember running into @JerrySLOand him asking if I was okay as I looked very green around the gills

    Euro 96

I was lucky enough to have some tickets for this. Saw England v Scotland. England v Germany and the Final. Good times and memories.
  8. I have now hinged watched 4 episodes and am quite enjoying it. A little less social commentary (The woman's hostel) would have been but it is easy to see why the Lancashire clubs dominated the early years of football.
  9. When did that change Mr P? I used to have Force Majeure as a condition in the Contracts I used to draft and they were based on English law
  10. Jerry learnt from the best, Beryl Fudge. I'm lucky enough to have known him and called him a friend for 20 years or more. He will help anyone if he can. This role was made for him and I'm glad that most people finally like our SLO. It is a tough job as you can't please everyone. Oh and he gave me the nickname " Scunthorpe Snoring Man" but that is another story.
  11. If you were an Under 9s team and not a team of professionals
  12. Never had the pleasure. My mate works for Eagle Coaches and was not impressed at having this job today He tells me that for a lot of the games this season they only need one supporters coach
  13. Pity my mate. He is driving the supporters coach today. All the way to Sunderland and back with those sad acts. I told him to change jobs
  14. If there was a round on Eurovision music I am sure you would have done okay.
  15. I would be up for that. Disappointed I missed last night. @richwwtk was our other team member
  16. I know this is about renewals but just thought I would add that after two seasons without a season card owing to health problems I will be getting one once they go to General sale.
  17. I have only met Dave the once but really enjoyed his insights (we were in the OTIB quiz team together)
  18. I've just spoken to a member of Chris' family and he is back in this hospice. For those of you asking whether to send cards and good wishes I believe he would really like that.
  19. That wins means we are stuck with LJ for the rest of the season now.
  20. I did get up at 3.30 for a Cup game at Harrogate Railway that Sky decided should kick off at 11.30
  21. I am currently going through brain tumours, I am having surgery tomorrow. The work that MacMillan do is amazing and the support I have received has been great. I will contribute next week when I get paid.
  22. A friend of mine collects City programmes going back to the 50s. He has advised that selling to a dealer is not the best course of action as you will probably only get say 20 % of the value because dealers want to make a mark up. Ebay could be your best option. There is an auction house called Sporting Gold where you could auction off lots.
  23. Using the ****** word is bang out of order
  24. Neither is Ben White but the Leeds support will ensure he wins it.
