  1. You are correct, the club offered it as a freebie. Just our luck that this years freebie was ruined by Lightning.
  2. Thanks Phantom, didn't want to get a good mate in trouble. Didn't think before writing
  3. *****, is the steward on Coach 2 and also works in the ticket office on matchdays so it is possible he would have this information. The steward on coach 3 is only likely to hear from him.
  4. Last game of the season in 1987, Swindon already in the Play Offs and we had to beat them to get in them as well. It finished 1-1 but Gordon Owen missed a penalty. It was carnage outside in the park, I remember a brick just missing my head. I was only 11 and not embarrassed to say I was scared stiff.
  5. Gloucestershire should not or have ever been allowed to play in Bristol. Gloucester is a City in its own right so they should be based there. The old Somerset border is close to AG so if anyone were to play in Bristol it should be Somerset
  6. it was and strangely they gave us the Town End that day.
  7. We have to be fair to the fewers, it was the Harbour Festival so transport must have been difficult
  8. Love it. “Shaun Harvey is A complete bellend”
  9. I have been watching Underbelly on YouTube. It is a dramatisation of the Melbourne Gangland killings. There are 5 follow up series plus another called Fat Tony and Co
  10. I'm certain that the photo is the 1988/89 photo. Carl Shutt left us in March 1989
  11. I think the sponsorship with the Gas has finished. They now sponsor Forest
  12. That was substitute teacher Mr Chowdury Terry, he was always rumoured to be reading the Kama Sutra inside whatever text book he was teaching from.
  13. Mr House taught me Religious Education and was my rugby coach along with Mr Fisher at Ashton Park. As everyone says he was larger than life and loved his sport. condolences to his wife Rosemary. R.I.P sir, you made a lasting impression on this former pupil.
  14. I remember that weekend well as I was flying home from Orlando. When I got on the plane we were 4-2 down
  15. Lacatus is one of their greats
  16. Just read the AGM thread on asschat and in one post Wael is quoted as saying that for every £100 they spend £97 on wages. I can’t see how that is possible as there is a ruling you can only spend 60% of turnover on wages. Have they been cheating or is Wael lying?
  17. The problem is that despite how much we apologise for this behaviour it allows the sags to do what they do best which is play the victim card. It suits their inferior psyche
  18. Totally agree, there is no need for it. A tiny minuscule minority make the majority of us look bad
  19. For my sins I have been on asschat and it looks like some of our “fans” paid a visit to the Minimal Ground and did some decorating. All I will say is thankfully it wasn’t the gates this time
  20. I kept hearing the commentators say that this was the last domestic final Lords. What is happening next season?
  21. Could I suggest that he takes a voluntary job? The two year gap is putting employers off. If he can show he is volunteering whilst looking for paid employment it goes a long way to show you are willing and committed. This website is good https://www.voscur.org/jobs
  22. Thanks Rich, I will order it on Amazon. Just checked The Doors of Stone Book 3 has a release date of August 2020 Thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out
