@phantom that’s terrible hype building! You’ll never progress from training gear designer to Social Media Strategy Manager by immediately giving in to fans’ demands

Tunisia v England Match Thread (Merged)

It certainly started that way but by the season’s end Trippier was preferred to Walker which was one of the reasons Walker sought his exit. I will take your point about 442 as I don’t pay enough attention to the Prem to know better than you but if Young is going to be successful on that side he needs to know his limitations. On more than one occasion last night he received the ball in a position to cross with his right but turned to cross (poorly) with his right. I don’t share your confidence in Young’s defensive game as several times he lost his man through ball watching last night.

No, that font is because he forgot to change it back after designing this year’s training tops before posting on here.

That’s partly because he has been playing that exact same role under Pochetino at Spurs for the last two years. It’s crazy that with the Spurs left wing back available to him, Southgate still prefers to use a right footed winger at left wing back. Rose has to start.

    Matty Taylor

I may be remembering it fondly but felt he performed at his best when Johnson paired him with Diedhiou in the cup against the Prem teams. Did he do this more than once or is my memory playing tricks on me?

    Pep and Yaya...

In the interview Yaya seems to accept it's not to do with colour of skin as naturalized Africans dont count. It's more attitudinal. Seems like LJ isn't the only one who doesn't like Mavericks in his squad.

What a stage to score that goal on.

So the FA have come out and told McGregor that they operate the same competition under a different set of rules depending on the date. Wonder if Gregor wants to pick them up on that, he could make a national name for himself.

    AdamB/Beanhead made redundant

Seems like someone is making their Mark. Ashton gate is not just changing in appearance, this is becoming a club I dont recognise.

    Forest Highlights - Tomlin

It’s ok, I suspect Tomlin won’t have noticed.

Make or break today for LJ

I'm going on record. I like today's team selection. As right as Monday's was wrong in my opinion.

    LJ and Bailey Wright

They are from the SofaScore app which draws its data from a partnership with Opta. The rating will be somewhat subjective based on what importance they assign to the various categories. Below is the breakdown of Bailey's performance on Monday.

    LJ and Bailey Wright

Just gonna put it out there, Bailey Wright was not the problem on Monday and the ratings based on what he did in the game back that up. In my eyes it was a wasted sub as we needed to bring Pack into midfield more than we needed to change our centre back.
