Why do we persist in trying to play along the back against teams who play a high press. We keep playing ourselves into trouble.
-
Fun fact, we scored more last night than the gas have scored in all games since mid Feb.

Another great night for our excellent Director of Football and our brilliant owner and their increasingly great choice of Manager made for all the right reasons.
Is this the new Southampton?

If we had eleven outfield players capable of automatic promotion Max would be fine in goal. He wouldn’t let us down, as today and many other examples this season has shown.
Do you mean 10 outfield players?

Wind playing a big part this half hopefully helps us 2nd half

In the long term, the biggest off-field metric is the size of the city the club is based in.
If you look throughout any football league system in the world, there's a strong trend that the biggest/best teams are those based in the biggest cities.
For instance, in the UK, the 4 biggest cities are responsible for 8 of the 10 biggest teams in the country:
- London (Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea)
- Manchester (Man U, Man C)
- Liverpool (Liverpool, Everton)
- Birmingham (Aston VIlla)
Very little difference in city population between bristol and Liverpool.

My wife is recovering from sarcoma on her hip so I know how life-changing the physical and life changing impact can be as it's left her from running 5k to barley being able to walk. He has my full respect and I hope for an ongoing speedy recovery.
The one highlight she had during what has been a very challenging couple of years was a very famous music star from the 80s (I'll keep his name private) was being treated on the same ward in Oxford when she had her last operation and she got really excited that his gown was open on the back as he went down the corridor past her room for his op so she got an eyefull.

Look he’s playing well but his distribution is still way below expected - did you see him kick and throw it straight out of play on Friday?
I disagree earlier in the season his kicking was a liability, as @Silvio Dantesaid his decision making wasn't great either. We seem to have a solid option in max now that I personally didn't see earlier in the season. His distribution is way better than it was. And as you mention not perfect it's no worse than most of the rest of the championship keepers.

He has improved massively over last few months. Kicking is better and has kept us in several games

MOANERS OUT!
Really were you there? It was turgid. We had 27% possession all game. If we pay hard earnt money to watch we should expect better then that. Happy with result but not the overall performance.

This has to be the straw that broke the camels back today. No fight from the players. The battling qualities they had under Pearson seems to have disappeared. For a "derby" only swans fans making any noise as city fans can't believe what we are seeing

Everyone can see that Pring has been hurt and not himself for weeks now, why Manning continues to insist on starting him I don't know
Injury's can't be an excuse. They sacked Pearson with half a team out
