Darren fletcher superb on 5 live at the minute
Kevin Nolan taking a typical prem stance , forgets WHU were in the mire a few years ago
was just going to post the same - Nolan what a bell end - Premier boys do not give a stuff they want all the money and all the glory
-
some of you will be proper music aficionados I know - my little man cave is fine and using MACKIE CR4-X Speakers - sounds ok but maybe needs a touch more base
without spending silly money and keeping the speakers themselves on the smaller side - should I stick to Mackie or are others a better option?

Are you on Twitter? My other half (who does have an account on here, but rarely posts) is a massive Fall fan. I can give you his Twitter name if you want to speak to him on there. If not then reply to this post and I will ask him questions for you
appreciated - I am too old for Twitter  - I think Blindness is from the album Heads Roll - but that is hard to find - I am trying to find a good live version on Vinyl
-
an acquired taste but I like them and I love Blindness - especially the version live Hammersmith Palais but this is not available on Vinyl (well I cannot find it) - seems there are millions of Fall Bootlegs and I bought Live in (Jimmy) Clitheroe - opens with Blindness but a terrible sound.
Any Fall fans that know a good live version and which album I can find it on?

Pointless and needless use of the F word or stronger in almost every Drama on TV - adds nothing - can people and writers not communicate now without dropping the f bomb every 5 seconds
(cue endless stream of replies ~~**&&$$!!!)

Stupid question, but are you logged in?
Well it tells me I am

I don't get it but I knew enough so save some favourite songs/videos so when I log in I can click favourites (I think) and there they all were - something has happened but that simple one click I cannot find and history is blank - in the words of me old Mum - what is it it isn't doing or is it me

They often email me codes.
This should get you 15% off: HAPPY2024
it did indeed - many thanks

Need a short parking stint at Bristol Airport Silver Zone - rarely need this but can never find a discount code which when you book they say "enter code" - where on earth do you get a discount code from? Is it an employer thing or a myth?

Went with 'er indoors at the weekend. Train up& back. Stayed in Stratford. Gig friday night. Saturday at leisure. Absolutely bloody loved it. Drinks & Food not outrageously priced and the venue was very clean & didn't feel too claustrophobic as some places can.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Absolutely recommended.
Glad it worked out - funny how it seems different to different people - I am glad we went but maybe we did not think quite as good as you - venue was good though

There is a shop called Zumiez - they sell watches - a particular watch I want is pricey ($165) then they want another $100 for taxes to UK and shipping!! Any way I can try and bring those costs down a little?
-
Still listing my vinyl - been through some Tangerine Dream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Floyd etc - landed on some very nice Twenties (1920s) Music (that is OLD) Ruth Etting and Al Bowlly - wonderful voices and tunes

Maybe this is in case of an invasion of Gasheads in the event of a cup tie. (obviously wouldn't be a League game, that would be silly)
oh be sensible - invasion implies more than 2 or 3 ?
-
still catching up on my vinyl collection - just found and started playing The Stanley Brothers - Bluegrass originals - landed on this thread exactly when "I am a man in constant sorrow" started playing
-
some great ideas - crikey though some are scary prices  - perhaps I need to go flight only and book hotel myself -easy jet and jet2 what a lot of money for a package

A lager and Famous Grouse diet () doesn't come cheap, so MES made deals with potential bootleggers to release their wares on his own label.
Highly variable sound quality. I don’t know much about the 90s and 2000s live stuff, but my favourite is Fall In A Hole, recorded circa 1980 in New Zealand about the time if Hex Enduction Hour.
appreciated

ok - not going mad but trying to fill a few gaps in my vinyl and seem to have lost all of my Fall Vinyl - still cannot get over Blindness (2007 Palais) live simply awesome but looking on ebay quickly there seem to be loads of Fall LIVE albums new and sealed for £10 or so - anyone with the knowledge know why so many are out and about and new?
