No - it wasn't the San Carlo (which is good) it seems to be relatively new - perhaps a chain of some type. Further down the road than San's

Not seen it on the thread (apologies if it is) but just down from the Cosy in Corn Street (towards the centre) on the corner left hand side is a "new" chain type Italian - went there a few weeks ago and the food was superb and pretty good value - just cannot remember the name for the life of me

Ripe old age of 60 now - as is Mrs Markman Rail Card for over 60s - is it worth it - I would use twixt Weston and Bristol for Footie and Concerts and the odd day trips out as an old couple () Do we need a card each - I see there is a "couples" thing where the best deal comes if you travel together - anyone got a recommendation? Cheers

Some good tips from my fellow City Fans over the years thanks So - Mrs Markman wants a basic laptop (not phone) where she can shop and email from - it won't be used for games or anything high spec - just shops, gmail and banking etc We just want something that fires up quickly and is easy to use - any suggestions (e.g do we need a lap top or would a fire stick or something do)

Anyone use this? I have never used it but found a book a wanted - seller seems ok but they have to post it as it is 150 miles away - they have given sort code etc for me to transfer the amount and postage (only about £10) but is this normal on facebook market place? I assume it is buying from seller direct unlike ebay etc?

Saw the Cramps at the Trinity Hall - possibly my favourite gig ever as an aside parking in around the Exchange - anyone know a safe place to park (I don't know as I rarely drive into Bristol if I can avoid it but a mate is heading up from Cornwall to see Follakzoid with me and will be driving (well worth seeing if you don't know them) -

Ah - but I think that is my point - if your finances are such that you need expert advice you possibly have money to worry about - if you don't have much money does it really matter. I have never earned enough to think I need an expert in financial advice (unless it is free) but a generic bit of feedback might be helpful. My research over the last 2 days indicated end March but then said if you are fed up and want to leave - leave it would matter that much so although I could hang on - I think I might go and risk losing one of my islands
-
just a normal average income no additional tax paid - like you I think worrying about it is for those that have money!

does it REALLY matter if you retire mid year, at XMAS or end of Tax Year? If you have no savings and are not in the high income bracket does it really (I don't mean you could save a few hundred quid) matter (i.e. would you lose thousands)? (I appreciate the paucity if information presented here -)
