  1. Very best wishes to the Mrs. Your username is very apt for her experience that day
  2. Have you been watching Borat recently?!
  3. Au contraire Mr Teeth. We'd be certain of appointing a 'proper' Championship Manager.
  4. OK full disclosure, I thought Chip'Red's post was a very quick response to ol' Tony Tootle's remark about proper interview footwear. As sharply dressed head to toe as these two gents are, now I get the sarcastic intent. Faceplants please.

It really doesn't does it. I think we have to remember it's a Netflix documentary that is produced in a certain way in order to stir all the emotions, but he did say it! I guess the decent thing would be for the doc to ask him for his say with 25 years worth of hindsight... Oh and no spoilers please, I'm only up to episode 3
  6. Played for England first half, Ireland second?
  7. Thanks! In this Universe I am married to a half decent bar singer called Ms. Perry so I'm probably gonna miss the rest of the match. BTW I think sports-10 streams work better than an actual Robin's TV pass!!!
  8. Anybody have a stream... To somewhere in the multiverse where City win at home? Thanks in advance.
  9. cricfree never works for me for the Robin's TV streams but has been excellent recently for Sky streams etc. Try sports-10.com for City games currently watching now and working well. Somebody posted a few weeks ago so I'm not taking credit! Today the home page looked outdated but use the search function and the link will come up. That WBA commentary though...
  10. For them it's ALL relative. Which is no small irony if you know what I mean ?
  11. Think someone's missing a big gap in the market. Must be loads of folks needing their pussy played with while at work or other places...
  12. On the topic of Lady pundits a big up to Karen Carney who was a regular pundit on DAZN Premier League coverage here in Canada land. Extremely knowledgeable and IMHO easy on the ear, very insightful. Her experience and anecdotes based on playing the women's game worked seamlessly with the incidents from the particular men's match she was commenting on. No idea if she could 'carry' a show as a presenter but personally think she does a great job as a pundit and columnist.
  13. Maybe something from the fans in minute 25 tomorrow (anybody going?) or next home game?
  14. Made I larf. Out loud. Thank you I needed that.
  15. Mods can no doubt confirm but shame the 'code' probably doesn't allow it to say "join the comedy" on each page of just this thread instead of "join the conversation".

They were 2nd on the list last year and after signing lots of marquee clients hopes were high for becoming partners in the firm, but alas after losing several cases deemed open and shut they have been shunted off to do pro Bono. You'll be able to see how the whole thing played out on Netflix soon enough.

Inspired by the 'Snow Bomb' thread, thought I'd dig out this beauty. From the CNN app reading my IP address from Oshawa, Southern Ontario (near enough anyway). It is football related, you shouldn't have to look too closely but you may do a double take.
  19. Two girls one cup? Sounds like one of Dom's videos. (For any Chris Moyles fans out there...)
  20. I do personally think Wally desperately wanted to be the owner of a (any) football club but agree that the reason his family agreed to buy this one was the property deal. If that had gone right (anyone forensicaly reconstructing that chain of events might conclude it was always doomed) then family investment is a winner and Wally is the hero lapping up the fan adulation of a club then probably on the rise (relatively speaking). Deal falls through, family gets out, Wally is left to himself to restore his own business pride in what has become more and more (and nothing more) than a vanity project. Except in spite of, or probably more accurately because of Wally's leadership things keep getting worse making the club and anyone connected to it, especially its owner and President, a complete laughing stock. Hence behaviours such as a tweet throwing your stadium announcer under the bus after your club was unable to provide any means to clearly indicate substitutions and time added on. You know, unlike all other professional football clubs in the Football Pyramid were able to do.
  21. Unless I am massively misunderstanding. Major's post seemingly explains the social media post by 'Lance' to which the owner and President of the 'professional' football club Bristol Rovers replies with a large slice of sarcasm. Major's post however makes it clear Lance made whatever mistake he did due to the Professional football club known as Bristol Rovers not being able to provide an electronic board to indicate substitutions and added time. Thus leading the official to use a piece of slightly less technical equipment, namely 'his fingers', further leading to the hapless stadium announcer known as Lance to provide incorrect information to the throngs packed into Memorial Stadium. The President of this Professional football club may well have been furious and launched a behind the scenes investigation into how this incident occurred and put into place robust processes to ensure no repeat which could cause the Professional club to be a bit of a laughing stock. But his most apparent, certainly most public action as far as I can see was a sarcastic reply to the person whose mistake was entirely innocent and whom has been thoroughly thrown under the proverbial bus. Just so the owner can hide their own embarrassment and shift blame away from the inept organisation known as Bristol Rovers. Classy guy. Real nice. Oh and back to the statement from the outgoing Gas Supporters Club President - who do you believe?
  22. What about the other half? Asking for a gashead...
