Did we draw 1:1 or was that the season before. I remember saying to Terry Cooper as the coach arrived, are we going to win today? His answer. I don’t ducking know! Not a thought of an answer that wasn’t fully availed of his thoughts. ?

proof that MILWALL will never ever change their reputation
REDOXO replied to Never to the dark side's topic in Football Chat
The idea that Millwall bricked coaches because the away side porters sang bubbles is absurd. Millwall supporters would have done the same either way! -
Queens Park Rangers away match thread
REDOXO replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
I sat with my mates in the Loft. In the second half they were all screaming for a penalty when OLeary jumped up to claim a ball. I’m not sure what happened or even if OLeary was the guy they were claiming against, I even said what did I miss. Anyone see anything from the other end/Anywhere else! -
Can we have an LJ sub forum. Can it be on Gas Chat!?

What the **** do you come here for then!?

Some good views and thoughts on the other Wrexham thread.

Any reference to Allardyce automatically makes me think of the non football forum! However I am not afraid to say if it keeps Leeds up at the expense of Everton I would be quietly happy!

Maybe you should understand your dad and his brother are not the norm. But I think you already do!

What NP has pulled off with a fraction of the money poured over Johnson is miraculous. The utter nonsense of a squad full of clubs in the bag to what we have now is night and day. As much as I am a huge fan of SL and what he’s done for the club everyday the decision to employ Lee Johnson is seen as ridiculous. Some may even have booed!

God I hate anything to do with The Republic of Ireland and it’s constant blaming of the English for everything. Dreadful thing to put up on a scoreboard and a bit embarrassing, however thousands travel to this country every week spilling their vile nonsense singing songs about terrorism, killing soldiers and that’s freedom of speech I am told. Someone should be fired of course, but I was brought up in Guildford and had over 30 years of all the evil bastards!

There was some discussion on here regarding Semenyo not making us as much if Muff survived but he hasn’t played and scored. If true this certainly helps.

Well done son! Hopefully that’s worth money to us!

I like the bloke. He comes across as a decent bloke when ever I hear him interviewed and he has habit of mentioning us. The only regret in football he has is not managing us. Fair play to the fella!

Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall

I was told today that there is something in this. So I guess we have hit solid rumour status! -
Are SL in disguise?
-
He’s been doing that for years. It was as if players were told not to look for him until Pearson came.

Alex Scott - £25m to Bournemouth- Confirmed

Yes I think you are right. Was anonymous today apart from the gift for their second. Hopefully he’ll have a good one next week, but today we looked better without him, by some margin -

We didn’t. Johnson and Ashton did. Ably supported by Steve! -
Mark Ashton is not fully responsible for his abject failure, pushing us to the very brink of FFP infractions with a bloated squad on huge wages that the Club could not afford. He was ably assisted by Lee Johnson and over saw by Mr Lansdown! You put a manager with insignificant experience and aN inflated view of his own ability (he predicted Europa League in five years that haunted his consistent failure) an owner/majority shareholder that would openly state my money my choice (this is only partially true, the club had to generate money to stay within the rules, thus this is a choice made that would allow the club to get aboard the fast track to failure) and a bloke who would happily negotiate ridiculous contracts at enormous cost to placate the former However in his case what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and Ipswich have benefited by his experience, particularly as he was not enslaved by limitless money and a child who wanted a new toy every week. Ipswich town is a completely different kettle of fish financially, its division, its owners resources and in view of its personnel, which is an obvious better fit for him now than he was here then.

Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall
REDOXO replied to The hand of RO'D's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Bryan can play in a number of ways and positions. His value is his versatility! Ive not really seen much of him for the last season or two, but if there is anything in this then Mr Pearson thinks he is still very decent. Money is always an issue, however as someone rightly said if he comes he will be within the wage structure and to be frank it’s common knowledge he struggled personally away from Bristol. -
If on the last day their was any chance with five to go of Cardiff going down If QPR score I wouldn’t be bothered If they did. Now that would be a party (watch this space)
