  1. 'Winning'? that is a bit of an elusive word to us!. Or did you mean boxes is the buzzword?
  2. My WUM radar may be on the blink but, that was an extremely credible post by Robbered. Pros: LJ has stabilised the club in the Championship and I believe he has to be credited in raising the profile of the club. He has given us some really good memories and, I for one, enjoyed walking into the office and calmly saying "Man Who?" Cons: I feel that LJ's biggest failing is his total inability to manage his players in a way that will gain their respect and trust. To publicly call them out and throw them under the bus when results are bad is a cardinal sin. We may hate Colin b
  3. Are we talking about the 'mile high club' here or have i missed the point??
  4. In all the doom and gloom at the moment, it is so refreshing to see such a truly magnificent effort by a wonderfully unselfish gentleman. Most of the time I am frankly embarrassed to be British but, then comes along Captain Tom Moore. Give him a knighthood now!
  5. So very sad but, what a gentleman! RIP.
  6. Hopefully replay is behind locked doors.
  7. Very true so surely there is something wrong with the coaching, training or tactics?
  8. We are playing a team a league below us and we don't seem to have any idea how to impose any superiority. We are still struggling to do the basics adequately. We are looking slow and second best half the time. If I was the head coach I would be seriously worried but, I am sure he will throw someone under the bus yet again!
  9. Responding to Freezer, Corinthian were the bedrock of English football and inspired numerous teams to play football to a higher standard. But to do this they choose to remain amateur. For all they have done for promoting English football, they have a legitimate claim to be helped by the FA. To call them ‘rovers in disguise’ is a massive insult. Corinthian Casuals as they now are, still retain the same spirit. Being amateur means that they struggle massively to make ends meet. They are still passionate in what they do and it is for the love of the game and not the financial rewards. i
  10. Looks as if they are at Tottenham. MP out one day and JM in the next.
  11. The ref kissing his medal???? What in heavens is that all about unless he truly believed that he gave something extra to the game. The best refs shouldn't be noticed and certainly should not go kissing medals at the end.
  12. Living approximately 200 yards outside of a London Borough it does get my goat that I am one stop away from cheap skates!
