  1. Hopefully replay is behind locked doors.
  2. Very true so surely there is something wrong with the coaching, training or tactics?
  3. We are playing a team a league below us and we don't seem to have any idea how to impose any superiority. We are still struggling to do the basics adequately. We are looking slow and second best half the time. If I was the head coach I would be seriously worried but, I am sure he will throw someone under the bus yet again!
  4. Responding to Freezer, Corinthian were the bedrock of English football and inspired numerous teams to play football to a higher standard. But to do this they choose to remain amateur. For all they have done for promoting English football, they have a legitimate claim to be helped by the FA. To call them ‘rovers in disguise’ is a massive insult. Corinthian Casuals as they now are, still retain the same spirit. Being amateur means that they struggle massively to make ends meet. They are still passionate in what they do and it is for the love of the game and not the financial rewards. i am biased because my lad played for the first team for many years although he now turns out for their old boys. There is an incredible bond between the players, old and current, and it is rewarding to see such loyalty. No premier league egos! Leveller is right that they turned out many famous names. There have been famous names since associated with the club. Jimmy Hill, Micky and Alex Stewart are just a few who come to mind. If Corinthian Casuals folded it would be a sad day for the history of football. If rovers folded, I probably would not notice.
  5. Looks as if they are at Tottenham. MP out one day and JM in the next.
  6. The ref kissing his medal???? What in heavens is that all about unless he truly believed that he gave something extra to the game. The best refs shouldn't be noticed and certainly should not go kissing medals at the end.
  7. Living approximately 200 yards outside of a London Borough it does get my goat that I am one stop away from cheap skates!
  8. Bit harsh there Bob - I don't think he put a foot wrong.
  9. 19:23 FULL-TIME Bristol City 1-0 Huddersfield Bristol City knock the Premier League's bottom side Huddersfield out of the FA Cup. What a great win! Or perhaps it was expected from one of the Championship's in-form sides. Couldn't agree more!
  10. Just going to moan about the poor freekick but what a goal. Excellent play by Brownhill.

    TV adverts

Being here for just the week, it is a case of using what is provided in the apartment we are renting. I do feel sorry for the Spanish having to put up with this dross and can’t wait to get back to itv et al.
  12. I am in Spain on holiday and I am totally amazed by the number of adverts being shown during tv programmes. They just seem to cut to the ads with no warning and there seems to be at least 15 to 20 ads. Plenty of time to get another cold one out of the fridge but, it is seriously doing my head in. How do exiles in Spain cope and are there worse places?
