Watched a fair bit of it and wow, what a nice guy, and yes his performances for us have haunted me for years, but reading all the above and now listening to him speak I realise what we all knew, that you can "never judge a book by its cover" and clearly there was lot going on under the skin we did not see Fair play to the guy

I wonder if the Villa and Hammers do a BCFC/Coventry of many years ago and fix it. They could arrange for each one to win one of the games they play against each other, if the points are similar to now, they would both leap frog our girls.... (assuming 3 points a win?) Stranger things have happened. Villa winning home and away I assume would be best for us?

I listened to it last night (for pure lockdown / missing BCFC footy reasons). I did not have a clue who Jon Beavis or the Idols (Idles!) were before the podcast (not surprising really as I am 57 and l now live outside of brizzle), but was pleasantly surprised by it and although it was long, listened to the end and found it really interesting, enjoyed hearing his experiences as a fan combined with his life and work in the music industry. Another great podcast, whatever young Archie thinks of it.....

to be honest its a nail biting end to the season for our girls and I am getting into it, far better to watch at the moment then our mens team and every match has something riding on it. I think they will stay up just, but its not going to be easy.

All been said already, but I think OSIB is ace and so are the other podcasts, I listen to them all and it really helps me it through the week and lockdown and keeps me off depression of a different kind which is not city induced... . I listen when I do all the chores around the house and happy with all the different styles on offer with the various podcasts. Others have said the OSIB podcast covering the Cardiff game was one of the poorer ones to listen to, but I don't agree, I think it actually summed up the game and the general depressing view of the "average Joe" BCFC fans like myself... We did not need detailed analysis, anyone who watched it know we got bullied and a canny old manager outwitted us and exploited the very obvious weakness we have down the left. It was not rocket science. Those who have listened before will totally understand the in-jokes and I laughed out loud when one of the contributors (who is always good value, but the name escaped me), said "yes Stanley you could talk about cricket and jokes, but the problem is you know nothing about cricket and you not funny!" made I laugh anyway... The point was "the footy on offer from city was so bad, the podcast pretended to talk about something else.... Hence summing up how I felt right then....

Vixens are well worth a watch for lots of reasons, but not least they are OUR ladies club and they always play with a pride in the shirt I occasionally find missing with our mens team.. as someone has said already a few cracking goals against Everton.

I am pretty sure Bolton are going to be well down there, I think most bookies have them going down as well.
