  1. Rail ticket £70. Football ticket £25. Programme £4. Beers £12. Food £20. Parking at BTM £15. Sundries £15. Comes close to £170 .... In the meantime I decided to go to Larkhall v Frome .... Petrol £3. Admission £6. Programme £1.50p. A snap ... and no racism or aggravation or nastiness from morons.
  2. Say's Law states that 'supply creates its own demand' ... but I doubt most of you have no idea what that means. It happened with Yate ...
  3. and we are charging Wigan fans £27 for a Sunday ko at 130pm ... pot calling the kettle black ... PS. Bradford Town v Brislington including a programme was £4 last night ...
  4. Results do follow money and that can be quantified (80% +) but what about what the Coach can affect. It is hard to measure the Coaches ability to affect players psychologically. Pep Guardiola is quick to get rid of players he cannot get to buy into his football. Tactics are psychological. If you think what the coach wants is poor it will affect performance This is so true as Ray Savino once quantified ..
  5. I have mixed race members in my family as well as Welsh family and family who support the Gas ... the way some of the w****s on here go on ... you are typical WASPS not that you would know what that means because ... I won't say. Quite a few so-called City 'fans' are as racist and whatever as whoever England played the other night. To be honest I don't give a to** because I lost all interest in top flight football a couple of decades ago ...
  6. so hold your hand up if, when City play teams from South Wales, you have not joined in with the chants of 'sheep shaggers' ... bloody hypocrites the lot of you.
  7. "Home fan only pubs" That is a sad indictment of football ...
  8. zero degrees isn't half bad ...
  9. Splitting hairs is pathetic ... who really is bothered about whether this crowd was 1.056% bigger than that crowd ? Anything that puts the West Country on the map is to be welcome. In the big scheme of things, we are a big fish in a small pool ... pretty poor really: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stadiums_in_the_United_Kingdom_by_capacity
  10. Football 'supporters' are real hypocrites .... just look at how some of the posts on here say absolutely disgusting things about Rovers' fans and supporters from Cardiff and Swansea ... were the same things to be said about eg. Asians then the posters would be (a) banned and (b) the posts removed.
  11. I once saw City play at Highfield Road ... some night it was, too ..
  12. At rugby games - and also non league football - and in all other sports, supporters just mix and mingle ... if football fans could just behave and not behave as idiots and BREXIT supporters as most are (ie. English Democrats) things might work. Bottom line - average football fan is an idiot ... FACT! It happened wherever England played last night and will always happen ...
  13. Melksham 2-0 versus a poor Wantage side in the FA Trophy .... £6 for an old man plus £1 for the programme and £3 for a decent pint that could be 'consumed' whilst watching the game plus £0.50p in petrol. It will honestly take a lot to prize me away from non-league football after over 40 years of addiction to the professional game that is increasingly bleeding its customer base .... FFS it costs nearly as much to park near Ashton Gate as today's experience cost!!
  14. Should have had the BREXIT vote today .... remain would have been a walk-over !
