  1. Bears truly do shit in the woods !! Hope you have a good evening - thanks for your support
  2. I wasn’t aware I had to come on here to state I renewed with some form of once a fan always a fan type comment so now I know :- I renewed yesterday because I’m a boring dullard with nothing better to do. COYR !
  3. Another thread about LJ not being up to it was needed on a match day for sure. I dare the mods to merge them all - double dare you muthas !!
  4. There is currently loads when I look through - thanks for flagging - that will keep me amused for hours in the future. I quite like on page 2 currently “Bristol City Women” followed by ”The heart of the problem” Not least because their sponsor Yeo valley is in a heart shape on their shirts (not that I have zoomed in to that area of course)
  5. Form is temporary. Since Benik’s injury have we truly played to Palmers strengths? Have we given him running options to meet his passing ability? He is a high quality championship play maker but unless we use him properly there is a strong argument he is at the wrong club.
  6. Pat Lam is right up there with the very best - he can attract the worlds best and the recent stats on Twitter with the top of 5 out of 9 or 10 key stats for the season speaks volumes as it is the stats for passes, bursts etc. Basically exciting and productive rugby getting better every year so Klopp or Guardiola is where I put him as equivalent
  7. As little as 3 years ago if you heard Afobe and Wells were starting up front you would think this was for Leeds or West Brom - not Bristol City. For those questioning LJ, MA etc, maybe this is further food for thought?
  8. VM is shite for red button unfortunately. Picture is like 1980s and there is no pause, record etc features. Half the time the commentary is not actually the game you are watching. Terrible service that needs improving or removing. I will still watch it though !!
  9. 4312 would work with the midfield able to give some decent protection and Hunt and Dasilva still able to give a viable width option at times. We need Palmer sliding things through to Nahki and Andi - the latter will drift wide right always so Hunt can still sit off 15 yards giving an option and ensuring their winger has to mark him - not so worried about Dasilva as he is up and down for days and we have the added protection of 3 in midfield covering.
  10. I think we will finish top 6 - but we will lose semi final.
  11. Bumped in case different people on tonight - with like elderly relatives who live in North Street and love a pin badge
  12. Old news from a press conference where it was also stated should be more like 20 by Friday. Kasey Palmer has been in self quarantine praying for no more than 10 fit players in the hopes of at least a bench position
  13. So even though you are unwell you have to tell us it won’t stop you going. Uber fan alert
  14. I’m renewing on day 1 (or rather my daughter is for us cos I can’t be arsed). Can’t resist a free raffle.
  15. Not exciting thread but day after Derby home game I was walking from my work towards North Street and found this on the floor. Would normally not go to this extent but the face of it is spotless and I presume it is original from year 2000 so might mean more to whoever lost it. If you know somebody who maybe wears one of those hats that they cover in badges who would walk towards North Street give them a shout and ask if maybe theirs - thanks The overnight weather did little to the front as immaculate but it must have been stepped on as the pin on back is bent flat. May straighten with plyers but not mine to potentially break !!
  16. FO. I did not know exactly what he meant hence asking and unlike you, others could see that and clarified without the need for your unnecessary input and presumption.
  17. Not trying to be negative but at the start he says we did not play with our identity but Leeds played with theirs. Once and for all for thickish people like me - wtf does that mean in normal English? Does that mean formation, game plan and normal style or what - I seriously don’t know so would appreciate a simple explanation!!
  18. This sort of thread alway brings out the uber fans
  19. I would like to see some loyalty from the club with s price freeze. The benefits that come with the SC are basically crap so it really is about the rather dross home league games. SC holders are beneficial to non SC holders with the offers all season eg mates rates tickets - about time SC holders got something and a price freeze would seem sensible.
  20. Best squad we have had in a long time was my exact words. You need to try reading instead of translating!!
  21. Oh I see what you have done here - because I said about us starting with such a weak midfield on another thread - very clever - not considering injuries or anything - very convenient for your well made point. So yes - a fit Korey, Fammy and better health Wiemann along with Watkins etc does in my opinion give us the best squad we have had in ages. As for the weak midfield comment - yes we started with a weak midfield for the Leeds game specifically which was what the other post was about but don’t let that interfere. So just to answer :- Rowe for Massengo O Dowda for Eliasson Palmer for Paterson 5 at the back with Hunt at right wing back would have given us a less weak midfield and made us more difficult to play through. OK now - the two separate posts inconveniently make sense?
  22. Oh god- I take it that is this weeks excuse? As opposed to starting weak tacklers in midfield positions and a centre back at right back and handing the advantage to the opposition from the start which would fall on the coaching team. Interesting !!
  23. Papering over the cracks - we have the best squad we have had in a long time but cannot compete. I have not joined in any of the LJ out stuff and certainly not the midget crap but we will not be able to match these teams whilst he, McAllister and Holden are here. I think we will finish 7th or 8th by a point or three and that is about right with the current limitations of the coaching team.
  24. This is surely 1st place versus 24th?
