  1. Everything about them is messy isn't it? Messi could never be anything more than just a spelling mistake to them.
  2. As someone who has trodden this path and continues to struggle with the black dog, please do follow this sound advice. You never know, your timing might be as perfect and as impacting as an Allan Walsh free kick. Go well my fellow Reds.
  3. I was of the belief that promotion to the top flight was the consensus, from the outset of SL's ownership?? Granted, a lot has changed in football and the wider world since then, and it would be challenging for us to be a lasting presence in the top flight, as things stand. That said, it remains my sole wish to see us get there. Watching the parade go by is becoming more and more of a frustration. I'm bored of hearing from Bristolians sporting the usual Premier League shirts that "City and Rovers are both crap, they'll never get into the Premier League, why waste your money, blah, blah...." - you know the thing. " A year in the Premier League or a major domestic trophy? " usually results in a good discussion too, I've found.
  4. I'm not surprised if they are preparing Russia's reintroduction, given that it appears the USA is starting to show signs of getting bored with funding Zelensky. Sorry for the politics, but there it is.
  5. Always a big game for me this one, for reasons I'll not bore you all with. So delighted with an emphatic win. Well played lads! COYR!!
  6. Get that "Rockin' Robin" groove on Eddie!!
  7. Will do Red.. She's one of us, you know?
  8. So that's where Neymar jnr got it from then Dave ?
  9. Isn't this a reference as to how they power the lights at the Mem??I Oh, and by the way, I thought the OP was referring to Prof Alice Roberts, and got quite flustered for a moment.
  10. Nope. "Nothing concrete" says Wally. Looks like it's all going to RAAC and ruin then!
  11. Their best bet would, in all honesty, be to develop the Mem as best they can. Quite where the money (and planning permission IF applied for) is going to come from is another story........
  12. Got to be good looking cause he's so hard to see........
  13. Gimps v Imps Come on Lincoln, make my day complete!!
  14. Well played lads! Strong performance and thoroughly deserve the three points.
  15. The refereeing of this game truly has to be seen to be believed.
  16. We have been Tone, although we've missed some good chances.
  17. Whoops, they've done it again!!? The gift that keeps on giving. Their Jonson has flopped and their superstand is having trouble with its erection. Stick that in yer Evening Pirate.
  18. We HAVE to sign him right on the deadline. Surely!!?
  19. Aren't all fairytales fictitious? Or am I just being a grumpy old gator?
  20. Well, this has rattled some cages!! All I would say is that the most important (by far) element of the football club to me - is - the football team. That's who I cheer for, cry for and support through thick and thin. With that and only that in mind, the team look no closer to reaching the top flight than when SL took over. Many players, a fair number of managers and many years on from the (single), very clearly stated personal mission, to get Bristol City into the top flight of English football.I I can sympathise with anyone who feels a bit let down.
