  1. Actions speak louder than words. Get it done.
  2. Looking at the bigger picture, like a lot of you i am frustrated my the situation we are in.We have always had great prospects, but in resent times no one to complete the jigsaw. At the moment Chris Houghton and Neil Warnock with a cv of getting clubs like ours to the Premiership. Forget about the style of play/ identities. In a few months time Mick McCarthy ditto the above. Do i believe the Lansdowns would interview, employ any of these or the same type of managers, NO. Do i believe the Lansdowns will sack Lee over the next few weeks, NO. In other words same as for the future. Steve Lansdown has done a great job with the stadium and backing Lee, and we have moved forward. But to get to the Premership i do believe neither of them a capable of doing so. I only way forward is for someone to buy the club and take us to the promised land.I understand that is a chancy thing to do.But some times in life you have to make big decisions to move forward.Other clubs have done it with success, yes and some have not. But this is the only way out of the constant under achieving this club has seen over many years. Anybody feel the same?
  3. Please NO after match interviews with any of the management staff, they all need to go.
  4. With the prize at stake in tonight's FA Cup.If we win a visit from the World club Champions and all the goodies that brings. Does he play Daniel or Niki. I would play Dan as i would expect him to play v Liverpool, if we win tonight. COYR.
  5. They ALWAYS start that way. What are the management team doing in the doing room to fire the players up??????
  6. January 8th, where are they. We should have been working on these for months, ready to put pen to paper. 8 days gone either they want to come or not. As you can tell i am getting frustrated.
  7. Millwall, Sunderland, Wovels and Ipswich all reach the play offs. Sunderland and Wovels all promoted to the top flight.
  8. Just watching BT Sports and Mick said he will be looking to get back into league football at the latest after the Euros in July. Strong experienced manager would not stand for any nonsense. SL could wait to the end of the season then if things are still as they are. Sack Lee with us hopefully still in the championship.
  9. Forgot about Paterson returning. Surely we can get a team winning team from all this good players we have. Over to you Lee.
  10. Firstly merry Christmas to all my fellow City fans. I believe we have a very good squad of players at the club. Leaving aside if Lee should stay or go.But the way we are playing is upsetting a lot of you out there, including me. So out side the main stream squad. Theses are are thoughts on the other players. As its Christmas tomorrow hoping to get some comments from you boys and girls. O'Leary, Morrell, Vyner, Walsh,Taylor, Jonny Smith return to club, and play in the FA Cup Watkins,Abelakun, Bakinson, Semenyo to play in FA Cup if not good enough send out on loan. Rodri to play in FA Cup. I will leave Lee to work out the formation. So that's 11 players, i realize it may not be possible to play O'Leary as its Shrewsbury in the cup. The subs bench will be full of our normal first team. So if things are going wrong in the first half. Lee can always use them. If he tells my first 11 if they put in a performance, they could well end up in the first team squad. That should fire them up. What do you think.
  11. Very sad news. I remember him as a very nice man and a excellent footballer. I seem to remember an League cup semi final away to Spurs. Gerry hit one, the ball hit the post. Had it hit the post an gone in we may have had a trip to Wembley.
  12. Great footage, thanks for that. Cant remember that match. The state of the pitch compared to now todays.
