  1. Left on 85 today and 80 on Wednesday. I'm feeling a lot of apathy towards the club at the moment for some reason! I've almost completely lost interest but will still turn up because I love my club. Probably a culmination of things i.e. end of season and nothing to play for, the shoddy way the club is being run, the absolute dross being served up most of the time etc etc. I'm really sorry I don't meet your expectations of a genuine supporting football fan of 40 years, maybe I could apologise to you in person for my misdemeanours? Instead of spouting the normal 'holier than thou' sentiments, why didn't you stop people and ask them why they were leaving early, you know, have an actual human conversation rather than venting, believe me you would've got a lot more from it.
  2. Anyone getting a lot more buffering than normal on IPTV streams today?
  3. ***** sake, black kit against the shadow equals invisible players
  4. Said this to a mate at the ground on Saturday. He looked as though he was playing on a different wavelength to the rest of the team then, caught on his heels and way to slow to react to what were good balls into space down the line. Not sure what it is tbh, but at a guess I'd say the guy defo know he's out the door, maybe even knows the club with both sides having agreed a prelim fee already.
  5. Not bad, would like to see video of it too give proper ye or nah. Here are other countries, not sure about the massive Adidas logo, for me looks disrespectful to the smaller national badges. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68596715
  6. Is this guy on socials? I've got no time for that cesspit Twitter X but on this occasion its warranted. Surely they can't be paying him for that absolute joke of a co comms, added absolutely nothing in terms of insightful thoughts on tactical play etc, just one c**k in the mouth moment after another!
  7. Wtaf mastermind here we come or is it the weakest link or maybe the chase. Whatever it is you sound as thick as your post
  8. Who'd of thought it eh, Dale Vince stripping the meat from the bone!
  9. Where the hell is option C crack? I'd go with back first, then crack under pressure, then sack! This is a vote for the order of preference for a Manzillian aint it, or am I on the wrong website? Just asking for a friend btw, he's worried about the below, can anyone offer any reassurances please?
  10. Felt for this guy. Could it be overwhelming nerves, I don't know, but his brain just looked scrambled after a couple of minutes so could've been the realisation that he had to produce as the pressure was on, bit different to being two three nil up. Surely anxiety must've overtaken him to look that bad, how else do you explain some of the decisions he was making. There will be some players out there that will never be able to deal with the pressure of playing in front of a large amount of people, musicians call it stage fright. Just watched his 22/23 season highlights. Like people say it's just kids/teenagers football so you can't really tell, but he does look as though he's got something about him!
  11. I mean no disrespect to the OP, but I find this a very strange thread.
  12. Thought this last week on listen back, ended up fast forwarding about 3/4 of the show up to the half-hour point then switched off and listened to paint drying!
  13. Thanks for all your replies people. Never bet on my own side, might have to break the hoodoo on this occasion.
  14. Evening all, Been looking around for TV stations that might be showing the forest game on Wednesday. Can anyone shed some light on the following international stations like the Nordic Viaplay channels supposedly streaming the game and if you can find them on IPTV like logic etc. https://www.livesoccertv.com/match/4889465/nottingham-forest-vs-bristol-city/ Cheers all
  15. 1.5k posts is a lot for a 5 year old. Well done, have yourself a gold star.
  16. Really, I've never heard that one before, ******* mental mate if true. BTW no one sits next to me, in the words of Shaggy 'wasn't me'!
  17. Bloke was booked for descent not diving, according to the beeb anyway!
  18. SOLD OUT...............game starts and half the seats in the South stand are empty due to people not bothering to turn up!
  19. Absolutely this. Real top players already have this built in. In some ways I believe it can be coached but in my opinion would take a lightbulb moment from the player, either being coached by a mentor type figure on the same wavelength, who they respect massively or to develop his/hers spiritual intellect i.e they have to realise that the team comes first...ALWAYS. For a talented player that has come through the ranks this is such a hard thing to compute because they have always been the centre of attention and lauded for their individuality. Here within lies the challenge for said player in finding the balance of split second decision making, making the pass or running with the ball. Gifted players don't have this issue because it's inherently built in and something they don't really have to think about, it just happens naturally. They will be able to visualise and make a run accordingly to receive the ball back, or make dummy runs to pull another player out of position etc etc. Obviously it's so much more difficult for players further down the football pyramid, because it's unlikely they will be playing with team-mates on a similar wavelength to orchestrate individual improvements in decision-making. I too am not sure whether Mehmeti has this ability or has the potential ability i.e. character, intelligence etc.
  20. oh the irony in that comment
  21. Thanks mate, saved that link for future use as well.
  22. Int channel please, can't find it via google search?
  23. In terms of potential Tommy is one of the best players I've seen at the club since first setting foot on hallowed ground in 83 after Andy Cole and Alex Scott. All we need to do is provide him with service, ain't rocket science. Believe me, this guy will go on to big things with club and country, you heard it here first, read it and keep!
  24. Love this post. In a nutshell it typifies the point that no matter how hard we try and rail against it, the fact is deep down we all have an agenda and it's so difficult to take a step back and reconsider what it is 'we are actually trying to say'. I kind of agree with the og poster in many ways, but on the flip side, its a way to simplistic argument to take seriously tbh! Broad brush strokes come to mind. Considering Manning claims to be such an anorak when it comes to research and delving into detail, he really should be looking at videos of how the team played when Conway and Wells were linking up across the front line, whether that was in the front three or two. Imo we played some of our best flowing and most threatening football. To keep playing Conway upfront on his own as a lone striker to me is complete madness and shows a real lack of experience on Mannings part....... but hey, that's my agenda !!!!
