    Fans cutouts

Hi Jerry, Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, is anything happening with the fan cut outs once the season is over? I'm a little underwhelmed that I've paid £25 to effectively have a copy of a photo that I already have emailed to me. I realise a display has been made but the fact I've no idea where mine is, or what it really looks like, is a shame. Thanks
  2. Me and a mate used to run a karaoke session at a pub in Fishponds about 20 years ago. One Thursday Scott Murray walked in with a mate and did a rendition of something (can't remember what). Let's just say his footie was better than his singing . He and his mate we're making their way up fishponds road for a few more drinks so I warned him about the many Gas who frequent fishponds.
  3. Yeah that's who I think it is. Although according to my family tree he was born in 1894 (which means he would have started playing for City at 25 rather than 35). I'm trying to get more detail from my father in law who has done the tree.
  4. My great granddad was Billy Pocock who played 238 times for City (according to Wiki). He died before I was born so only got stories from my nan (who has also died). Wonder if City would have any records of him?
  5. Off Menu podcasts are brilliant. Audio books rather than podcasts but I've enjoyed Black Tapes and also White Vault. Sort of thriller, suspense fiction
  6. I mean, do people agree or not?? I've no idea from this
  7. I'm not going to give an opinion either way but I'm pretty sure there are too many choices for emojis
  8. Yeah same prices as I paid. €95 for the final is an absolute bargain. (Hopefully my seat is in the stadium). I've watched Champions league, FA Cup, Europa League finals, 100m Olympic Final and €95 is ridiculous compared to the others. Probably only rugby finals have been comparable/cheaper
  9. The other problem with something like this (and I'm not knocking you at all, just continuing the conversation), how do you allocate the games? I've got (I think) 16 caps and if I could only have 3 games I'd choose final, semi and 2nd group game. However, if we don't get past 1/4 then I would only see 1 game. If I choose the 3 group games then I'd potentially miss the games that really matter. I honestly don't think there is a solution that would please everyone, especially seeing it's the national team in a major, almost exclusively at home, tournament. After the world cup a few of us ma
  10. Got all except last 16 game and also Cat 3 (or maybe the football first ticket thingy). Travel plans to Rome or St Petersburg should be fun

    QPR Tickets

Jerry, I purchased 'gold' upper tickets this week and I'm fairly confident nothing on the ticket website indicated whether they would be restricted viewing or not. I've received the tickets today and they say they are restricted sight lines. Now either I've totally missed it on the site when I purchased which would be my fault or it's a little naughty that I can buy 'gold' with no warning. Appreciate City probably have no input into the seat allocation but this seems a little out of order if I'm honest. Did I miss something here??
  12. Yeah whenever I sit in the dolman I apologise to the people in front of me before the game starts
  13. Being 6'4" and needing to keep one of my legs mobile I'll be looking forward to this
  14. Is it allocated seating please? I ask because I see people commenting about restricted views etc so is there a risk my 'gold' tickets could be occupied and I end up watching the tv tower?
  15. Yeah tbf I've just seen that. I gave it the benefit of the doubt as I was suprised a defender came on for a midfielder but seems I was wrong. Didn't boo by the way
  16. Genuine question or thought, was it Gomez getting booed because of the Sterling thing or was it because Southgate brought a defender on for a midfielder?? People around me just seemed suprised
  17. I'll take 2 if any are going please?
  18. I've used Your Parking Space website and paid for a spot in a hotel. 'Only' £7.50 but (hopefully) saves me the effort of finding somewhere when I may be getting there just before ko
  19. Far more enjoyable game than Saturday - even if getting to the ground was a absolute nightmare. I liked the fact Kosovo actually tried to play football and were far better than some of the international teams I've seen recently. Possibly the weirdest match I've ever seen though. 1 down after 37 seconds, 5-1 up at half time yet still time wasting come the final whistle . Atmosphere was a lot better than Wembley (smaller ground obviously helps). As others have pointed out, getting to Southampton was a nightmare due to roadworks and road closures so no real surprise there were empty
  20. He's got a close affiliation with Clevedon and Micky Bell who's manager down there. Watches a lot of their games when he can.
  21. I thought all 3 CBs played well yesterday. Moore got caught once in the 1st half but I think that was about it. I think people can get caught up a bit on CBs being comfortable coming out with the ball. All looked 'okay' but remember, we were massively spoilt with having Webster doing it last season. A lot of premier league CBs are not even close to being as comfortable as Webster so what are the chances of us getting a like for like replacement? Yes I think everyone would love them to stroll out with the ball, make 50 yard passes and keep an immaculate mop of hair but tbh, I'd rath
  22. Tbf there were a few stood at the back in block 28 and the stewards were pretty relaxed about it
  23. Got a response today which was good. Still find it staggering that they are yet to even print some of the cards yet alone send them. Cards went on sell at least 6 weeks ago and still some aren't printed?? It's not as if they need to be personalised or have individual designs which would delay things.
