I'm sure I've read on here that online orders are managed by Huboo from one of their fulfilment facilities and are then delivered to Ashton Gate for collection.

Correct for shirts, assume so for everything else.

As a footnote to my toilet sign photo , I actually crossed a very embarrassed lady in the gent’s toilet at the establishment.

Just thought of another , Americans who ask to use your ‘bathroom’ when they want a wee.

When I am in a person’s house I don’t ask if I can use their toilet. I rather politely ask if I can ‘wash my hands’. Often French people tell me I can wash my hands in the kitchen sink. Strange people the French.

Do you get funny looks when they spot you doing a number 2 on the dishes?

  3. When I got a notification flash up on my phone earlier about this, I thought "I've clearly misread this".

Alas, Zak Vyners clothing line is actually being advertised as a main story on the club's channels, and my eyes did not deceive me.

    Ok then.....

If this was put out by the other lot, then we'd be pissing ourselves....

So Leicester get promoted this season then get deducted enough points to get re relegated the next ,get financially rewarded for cheating and getting relegated to the championship but have the financial advantage to get promoted straight back again, it’s all a bit daft really.

Only way to stop it and make clubs take notice is to relegate them down to League 2, enforce a wage cap in line with the average wage for the league, and have to earn their way back up fairly (and by fairly I mean no stupid million pound bonuses or clauses, and having to submit all contract details/payments to the courts to scrutinise and make sure they're playing ball).

You're absolutely spot on though, if they get a hefty deduction next season and get relegated back to this level, they reap the rewards of cheating- yet again.

Sorry if this is a stupid question (I’m new here but been stalking the forums for a while without an account) but who is Ian Gay and why do people think he has inside info? Heard his comment on SOTC and didn’t know if it was just his own opinion

Ian used to post on here many years ago, and his opinion was fact, and the only one that mattered. Even if you had evidence showing him he was wrong, he'd still be right in his own little world.

He was very good at stating he had inside information, but in fact it was usually just stating the bleedin' obvious. A bit like stating that Manning has to start showing something over the next x amount of games or he'll be given the boot. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

Ian Gay loves Ian Gay, and is his own biggest fan. I once stated that he could start an argument in an empty room, and I stand by that.

He probably (still) knows just about as much as me or you. He just gets himself a lot of airtime and makes it sound like he knows what he's talking about. I wonder if he's started going to games in recent years....

    Surely he didn’t say this?

I thought the same, then realised that after some of the stuff he's said recently, he quite likely did say that.

For what it's worth, I still don't know if he said it, I'm just getting a sense of Johnson-vu again with all these soundbites and "not my fault" comments.

What he needs to remember is that he inherited a side that was capable of the top 6. BT and JL said so when Pearson was sacked...

Adverts where there is a face on the product to make you like it .
Reminds me of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy where an animal is promoting various bits of his body that could be tasty. Sick .
Stick a smiley face on a turd and people will buy it

People who are driving around in winter with their roof box still mounted on the car 5 months after returning from their gite holiday in France.

I recently had mine on for about 6 weeks whilst we were moving. Taking stuff from the old house to my mother in laws to store it as there was a gap between us selling and being able to move into the rented bungalow we moved into.

Then once we had moved in I was moving stuff between houses, and actually didn't have anywhere to store it because the garage was rammed.

Trust me if I never needed to put it on, I wouldn't. I hate the bloody thing but with a young kid and a dog it's a necessary evil sometimes 🤣

Has a manager at any league club ever received this much support from fans after being sacked?

    It's certainly unusual.

You often get pockets of fans saying they shouldn't have gone, with the majority being happy with the decision, but this does seem like the opposite is happening here - small pockets saying they're happy, but the majority completely baffled!!

The only way I can see the club regaining some sort of trust, is by appointing someone like Nuno who is just a completely unbelievable appointment! It's also never going to happen because the board will be appointing someone who will just go with what they're being told to do.

  12. Both depressing videos, and both confirm what has been suggested on here - Nige wasn't happy to toe the party line, and adapt enough.

Not read through all the responses, so it may have been said elsewhere, but what is worrying is the bit about youngsters coming through and will continue coming through. In other words, don't expect much transfer activity.

As good as some of the youngsters are, even with a fully fit squad we are not good enough for promotion currently.

If we now bring in a new coach who doesn't get promotion, then surely we'll be looking for a new one again in the Summer. That's basically the stall they're setting out isn't it?
