Even the missus who was listening in the car said, and I quote "What the hell is this idiot waffling on about". She has no idea that it was anything to do with Rovers. When I said who it was she said "Well what a perfect fit".

Yup, scum. You heard. Not just a term used by us, as many other clubs supporters have come on here over the years, and said similar things about your lot. I doubt you get anything like that on your forum, as anyone that doesn't swear allegiance to the blue and white gets banned anyway. Thinking you could get a decent ground for a pittance in 82, taking over the Mem, punching ?... That's not to say all City supporters are angels, and I know some decent Rovers supporters (grew up with a few). You're a decent poster (for one of them), and actually quite like reading some of your posts. I still stand by my original comments though

They'll drop out of the league again soon...

The only time that scum will ever be associated with Ashton Gate, is if SL took them over and closed them down. Of course that will never happen, as there is no benefit whatsoever to him doing that.

Oh come on thats a ridiculous comment to make. It doesn't look that good!!! Don't believe everything you read in the press. They've gone on strike because of that lot, just didn't want them on the plane after the outbound journey. Cost a few grand to clean the plane upon landing.

Hull City v Bristol City Match Day Thread 19
Taz replied to havanatopia's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
Jesus I only checked a little while ago and we were 2-0 down. What a bloody result!!!! Don't want to get carried away but there is a hint of the promotion team with this group of players. Never know when to give up. -

Wouldn't have 'em within a 100 yards. They'd wreck the place just because they could.
-
But a complete demolition isn't likely as they would have to move somewhere else for a few years. With that in mind, why would anyone want to let them in to share a ground with their record? They'd end up claiming squatters rights once they'd realised they couldn't afford to pay the demo crew and had nothing but a patch of land left. They're like a bad smell once they get in, you end up losing your ground in the process. Inflation alone without the "brexit" effect would push it up to the cost of ours. They ain't got the money. To be fair I couldn't care less, just shows them up for what they are, a laughing stock.

Because ours was a semi decent ground before work started. Even with parts of the ground knocked down, it was still better than their pit. They have a lot of work to do to get it up to the standard of the old Ashton Gate, let alone anything else.

Is that the new conference room?
