  1. Bailey Wright - Suspended for 2 matches

Oumar Niasse charged with diving... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42066734
  2. Yeah, I'm the same. Lend my ticket to friends if I cannot attend. Had a wedding at the weekend, lent mine and my son's tickets to friends. Was gutted to be missing the game, wasn't so sad after the result. Took no money from them, just glad that two people who otherwise couldn't have gone, got to see the City play.
  3. I'd imagine if the club got wind of anyone selling their seat at inflated prices, that they could strip you of your season ticket or membership. Is it worth the risk?
  4. Keep up the long titles, they're brilliant, and you'll never get a complaint from a fellow otiber that they thought the thread was about something else.
  5. derby v hull worth a watch on friday night?

Watched the game tonight, and i agree that Derby played well, but imho Hull's defence was shocking. They will not get that space next week, it will be a lot closer. They were nothing special, more that Hull were awful.
  6. Unexpected city bonuses

Not a surprise, more disappointment. I arrived about 2 minutes late for a game, think it was Bradford. It was before the electronic scoreboard above the Eastend. I was happy with the 1 nil win, until reading the paper the following day to see that they had scored almost from the kick-off and it was actually a draw.
  7. Lights on at the Gate tonight

Now that makes sense...not quite as exciting though. Thanks Dolly, fun spoilt
  8. As someone that lives nearby, and with a grand view of the beauty that is AG, I have just noticed that they have the floodlights turned on; not something they tend to do without a game. Would it be wrong of me to put 2 and 2 together, and suggest that maybe we will be soon seeing a new signing announced, parading his new City shirt in front of a floodlit Ashton Gate pitch? or was there a youth game, or maybe rugby training session, and I'm just getting to excited about all these rumours.
  9. Could it be two new forwards ?

Bloody hell, what fantastic positivity. It's the start of the season. Be excited, I am, well until 5.45 on Sat eve.
  10. The pitch IS narrower...

Pulis used to have the pitch narrower at Stoke, to help with Delaps long throws.
  11. Gas pub closed

I like the Welly. Besides it is a Bath Ales pub, which was bought last year by St Austells brewery...it's not going anywhere.
  12. Relative Importance Values 2016/17

Great work, interesting to see Little in the above 1 category, no surprise to see Matthews as the worst, and amazed at Matty Taylor, but considering he was involved very heavily at the end of the season, when results went our way... Maybe people can start to see the benefit he has to the team, even though he is not banging in the goals.
  13. Or how about 1 point for a 0-0, and 2 for any other score draw? Would encourage teams score.
  14. Birmingham City memories.

I was invited through work to St Andrews for a Brum v City game about 7 or 8 years ago... we lost. After the game, we headed back to the corporate lounge for a few more free drinks. There was a quiz, which our table won, well all the questions were about Bristol City, so was a bit unfair to all the Birmingham fans in there. The prize was a Birmingham City leather wallet... thanks. Then to my surprise, the winning table also got to present the man of the match award. I was duly nominated as I had got all the questions correct, so to my less than pleasant surprise, there was me, smiling through gritted teeth, handing over a bottle of bubbly and man of the match award to none other than Lee, I fight with my team mates, Bowyer. I still feel dirty now!!!
  15. So the Birmingham Post are reporting that Harry will move upstairs and Steve Cotterell will take over as manager, earning £1m a year. Thoughts? http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/birmingham-city-digest-harry-redknapps-12968655.amp
