Funny thing, there’s a kernel of truth in there - the amount of houses going up in South Glos and expansion is large and will only continue. Depends though. I assume if you’re buying Bears, you’re getting the brand, playing and coaching staff, existing liabilities and…well aren’t all enabling services provided by Bristol Sport? That’s a pretty hefty outlay without the benefit of experience with the brand to start with.

I’m not a fan and I’m glad it’s a rarity, although perhaps it depends on the time of year - the game vs Villa on a Friday was great. Early evening drinks outside the cottage in the late summer warmth was a nice touch .

In my mind, surely having a decent range and availability is the first step. Seeing what’s being sold online will give a decent idea of what gets to have a presence on the racks of the dismal store. Ultimately this topic is moot as the owner seemingly has no compulsion to improve the merchandise offering.
