One bonus of Somerset signing Kohler-Cadmore that I hadn't conisdered is that he'll only be playing a maximum of one T20 against Lancs in a season. Gets runs against us every single time.

Apparently that was the first time both teams have made 200 in a Finals Day game. Be interesting to see how the scores go as the day goes on.

They've released the ones who presumably won't be picked on Sunday - Brook, Parkinson, Salt. The original schedule had the India ODIs finishing yesterday so everyone would have been available, but then they had to fit the extra India Test in so everything got pushed back.

I was thinking the same during the Test the other week. I know they're different personalities, but when you look at how Root seems to have slotted back into the ranks after resigning the captaincy and happy to be just one of the team again, then see Kohli constantly looking to be centre of attention, arguing with umpires and the opposition, the new captain must be a bit miffed to say the least.

It sounds like if you can see off the new ball then it's a very good wicket to bat on.
