  1. I don't disagree with any of that, but a defeat tomorrow isn't going to change any of it immediately, is it?
  2. Arteta could have subbed any of his at half time, so of course he takes off the one who I've got in my FPL team and hadn't scored yet.
  3. He's a Guardiola disciple which goes a long way in the eyes of the media. Whenever I've watched them this season they're shockingly naive.
  4. The best bit is that there's not even a press conference scheduled.
  5. Cracking. So if we do lose, I assume you won't be treating us to your usual hysterical nonsense afterwards? Yeah, thought not...
  6. Do you still want us to lose tomorrow?
  7. Tinnion's last game at Swansea and Millen's at Blackpool. You'd struggle to find two more obvious examples of players chucking the towel in to get a manager out.
  8. I must admit I was a bit surprised by just how toxic the crowd was yesterday, not just at the end but through the second half and especially once we conceded. AG isn't known for being that vocal with displeasure, it tends to be more weary resignation than anything else. I wonder if the powers that be were taken aback too?
  9. To be fair I'm not sure we've had any obvious ones in recent weeks. Certainly after the change of management there was an influx though, as confirmed by the admin at the time. Gaseater was the latest incarnation of Lez/Dog/Londoner etc. He'll try again with another one soon.
  10. Tbh I think he was going regardless of what's happened in the last few months.
  11. Plus his stated dislike of dealing with agents, contracts etc.
  12. Like they were never ever going to fire LJ even if he took us to multiple relegations? That used to get said on here a lot and he ultimately went for not getting close enough to the playoffs.
  13. So if we do lose, I assume you won't be on here moaning about it afterwards?
  14. Yep. The first half is fine if you then kick on and win the game, or at least create enough chances to think you should have done. We didn't do that, quite the opposite in fact until about 5 minutes left and we threw the kitchen sink at it.
  15. Of the realistic options he'd be my choice.
  16. What does that have to do with Cooper?
  17. Do you mean MK Dons? Someone posted his last post-match interview before he got sacked there the other day, it was remarkably similar to today's.
  18. Barring a miraculous upturn in form they’ll be long gone by that point.
  19. Yep, If there is anything like this going on then it's not something they can keep spinning from week to week as "hoping to have him back next game". You'd say he'll be out for a few weeks and then revisit it down the line.
  20. If we're very close to it at the end of the season Manning will be long gone.
  21. This'll be an interesting experiment to see how many people read the post as well as the title.
