    Captain

Who would I like to see as Captain? Easy - Messi. Does a great job as the Barca captain. Would be a natural replacement for Patterson on the shape we play. Getting on a bit admittedly, but probably got a couple more years in him at this level.
  2. Jon Lansdown is nuts. If I were the son of a billionaire, I'd be far too busy jet-setting around the world acting like an obnoxious douche with too much money to worry about bothering myself with whatever Bristol City were up to!!
  3. Cardiff could do worse than getting rid of Warnock and bringing Hughton in tbh
  4. I was toying with the idea of getting tickets for this. But I'm not going to bother and save the money instead..... I'll need it for the tickets when we play at Wembley in the final.
  5. We'll win both games. Derby will lose both games. But Middlesbrough will beat Rotherham, meaning that last minute equaliser we let on against Wigan will end up costing us 6th spot. I'll be cheering for Middlesbrough in the play offs in that scenario, or if they don't make it then WBA. Couldn't abide the Leeds or Villa fans if they go up frankly.
  6. Your report makes our performance sound much better than it was in reality. We were poor; very poor. Sheffield didn't need to do too much to expose our defence on numerous occasions. I'm not sure why our players seem so reluctant to shoot from distance either.
  7. @MarcusX I'm sat in one called The Park currently smashing one of their big breakfasts, which was like £5-something. Bloody love northern prices!! Seems alright, quiet this early obvs, but a couple of Wednesday fans here already so imagine you'd be better off if you're not wearing colours
  8. Haha, I was up here yesterday night enjoying the sunshine in a few beer gardens
  9. Arrived in Sheffield. Because the trams aren't running, the park and ride car parks are available for free. There is one about 10 minutes walk away from the ground on Middlewood Road.
  10. Except our wage bill alone exceeds our income each year already, so SL knows very well he needs to tread carefully with the financial health of the club. I don't see him going all out this summer as a result.
  11. I'm going! Should be a good day out. Hillsborough has seen better day but it can still be rocking on its day. Last time I went up there I saw Lee Peacock miss a penalty against (I think) Luke Wilkshire in goal!
