  1. Just noticed there are 2 episodes of this on iplayer now, could be wrong but was sure it was just a one off when I watched it originally.
  2. He wasn't forced into wearing it - That is your opinion.. Summarized in the first 30 seconds of this video.
  3. Let's not turn this into a covid discussion, Le Tissier was sacked at the time before a lot of his covid tweets had come out. See @Simon79 post above which clarifies this. Le Tiss didn't want to wear the BLM badge but was forced into wearing it and then decided not to wear it again.
  4. Gary Neville also voices his political opinion on Twitter as does the climate preaching Gary Lineker who travels all over the world. I am sure everyone can choose not to agree with a persons opinion but does that give their employers a reason to sack them @!james?
  5. Likely because Le Tissier has only recently put a video/story out saying he raised the query at the time he was sacked.
  6. For Sky Sports, it is acceptable for an employee to gob on a 14 year old girl as the Carragher/Neville relationship works well and is popular.
  7. I think we are in agreement that he is our best keeper, so surely we wouldn’t let him run his contract down. If he doesn’t want to sign a new contract then we have to cash in.
  8. Exactly ? time to cash in, Bentley is an asset and was benched for a while last season also.
  9. If Reading win their remaining games and we don’t then likely we are down. Not really pathetic, just basic maths. The probability is very low, but there is still a chance so the season isn’t over for us yet.
  10. Can’t believe we can still go down ! This season isn’t over then, most thought it was over months ago but somehow we have slipped into a relegation dog fight as we can’t win a game. I can’t think of anything positive to say about Pearson right now, he’s not improved us at all this season, we are in exactly the same position as last season.
  11. Perhaps without the pace of Vardy, which is why Vardy is good.
  12. Wasn’t that the same thought process as last season also ?
  13. Thought you were talking about the table position. Down to 19th now, where did we finish last season ?
  14. Correct, no progress made since last season. We are in and around the same position, another poor season. Everyone wants Pearson to succeed here based on his historical achievements but isn’t working out at the moment.
  15. ? Got one of those in my back garden which I am keeping a very close eye on ?
  16. The only small caveat in that is we are only starting to hear about this now in 2021 (post-vaccine), I don't recall this ever being mentioned in 2020 (pre-vaccine) when football was still being played behind closed doors.
  17. The topic is regarding Lee Burge who has had covid and the jab.
  18. I think if you posted the same thing on the "covid" thread there would be a few on there suggesting it is purely a coincidence as they have done so in the past and comparing footballers deaths to previous years. Lee Johnson is in the "game" so will have inside knowledge as to why some footballers are not taking the vaccine. I expect he will have heard personal stories that are not announced to the press, Purely speculation but there might be an issue taking the vaccine if you then catch covid around the same time or vise versa. I am sure all possibilities are being looked into but I really can't see anything ever being announced if there ever was an issue with the vaccine, especially after most of us have already taken it.
  19. Perhaps this clears it up before everyone says what a bellend he is ...
  20. It’s one of three things, covid, the vaccine or as most would like to believe.. simply a coincidence.
  21. What’s going on with Bentley? Is he injured or does he want out ?
  22. No I hadn’t see that, I saw there was a documentary on how the police handled it last night which I have recorded as well.
  23. Not specific to Prime or Netflix but would recommend Four Lives with Stephen Merchant on BBC1, some really good acting and a true story - catch it all on IPlayer https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7428760/
  24. Exactly my point on the match thread and someone said wtf am I talking about ... nobody is disputing he’s the best midfielder we have however he is a calamity at times when he could safely pass out of defence but opts to pass to an attacker free in the box from the opposite team (dumb stuff).
