  1. And after being toshed by Boro at home, many were saying it would be a long, hard season. As it turned out, that wasn’t the case but there were still some gloomy moments. It’s a marathon etc..... However it looks more promising atm but we could do without too many more injuries.
  2. Fair play for apologising but, next time, wait before pressing ‘submit’. You look like gas otherwise.
  3. Will miss him (in particular his whole-hearted attitude) and, as an outlet for the back four, he was integral to our play. However there was always the feeling that he wanted too long on the ball and slowed things down. I would wish you well personally Marvin but I certainly don’t wish Cardiff any success with you.
  4. Well if he’s shortsighted I don’t want him anyway.
  5. Since when have Luton played in red?
  6. As George V reputedly said 'Bu$$er Bognor'.
  7. As a fan rather than someone who has a financial interest in the club, the only thing that interests me is the squad at any one time. If one player’s transfer out leads to a stronger, more committed squad then I’m a happy bunny. £25m or whatever in the bank is not directly relevant to supporters if the squad is weakened by the player’s departure. A week ago, we were all praying he would stay. Now it appears his head has been turned and his poor performance on Saturday seems to have changed people’s minds. But you’re right; no one’s irreplaceable (we’ve never really replaced TA though).
  8. But worried now. If they’re sailing, will they be back for start of season?
  9. Hope he caught The Cure: friggin awesome!!!
  10. Not just the cider. This lad has always been a good player and one who gets better if quality players are around him. I reckon SUFC will struggle but there are teams (Bmuff) which can surprise. The Blades are a great club and you never know they could be a match in heaven for Freeman. Need to get water carriers around him tho.
