  1. Out of interest where are you getting that figure from? I would guess you are no where near, no where at all.
  2. I loved that series, can certainly see some similarities.
  3. I'm not so sure, you might get surges rushing from one finishing to another act immediately starting? That's assuming there will be a crowd of course!
  4. There doesn't seem to be much overlap time for people to move from one stage to another?
  5. I'm not sensing any outrage. More disbelief and laughter type of feeling. For me too its about priorities, let's get a few basics right and bring back a bit of feelgood between the club and the fans. Also perhaps not really the time or the place for Zak, or whoever is behind this, to be launching a personal range. They would have probably been better exploring this in the close season, not amid the emotions and turmoils of this one.
  6. Well if it is it's pretty convincing, obviously I didn't proceed but I tested out the buying process and it took me to the payment stage. So it's as real as can be
  7. I must admit if I had to guess which one of our players would bring out a clothing brand based on himself, Zak would be so far down my list I would have said 'I give up, tell me'
  8. They really are not reading the room, can they be that far out of touch?
  9. Is he a better designer than Jon though, could be in for some interesting shirts next season if they do a joint venture
  10. Hull do, or did, the same price range for any stand in the stadium I think. All stands are equal.
  11. Isn't it them who do free away travel too, or they did until recently? Great value being a Stoke fan if you disregard the football

Of course the club will want him to get an international call up...he's more sellable then £££
  13. I'm up there for a long weekend. How does it affect trains when we are up there. I was hoping to go to Edinburgh on Friday or Sunday, not sure which operator that is? Also is the Metro likely to be affected? Anyone have any knowledge or info please?
  14. I understood King wants to see out the rest of the season and move back up Leicestershire way. Well that's what his wife said on Social media months ago, and wives tend to get what we want
  15. At best he was unprofessional. His comments didn't upset me as such, but him using his position to make them did. Shame on WBA, they need to employ more professional people as it reflects on them as a club.
  16. Music is so much personal taste. I tend not to like many female singers in general, seeing even just that clip I've decided she's not for me. Last Glastonbury I went and saw Raye who was highly recommended to me by many people. She didn't do it for me at all but has since gone on to win loads and loads of music awards and nominations at the Brits (?). I certainly wouldn't see her again, but like I said music is personal taste. I do like Glastonbury for that, having the choice and discovering new stuff. If you don't like something you can move on, but unless it's really bad I tend to stick it out and try to get the feel of it. I stuck out Raye but wish I hadn't if I'm honest.
  17. Regarding the substantial increase in the SS, I can see why the club have done it. They have gambled on people paying the £105 (?)and not bringing their kid for much of the season, so empty 'blocked' seats. Or/ they are hoping people don't want the seat at that price which then frees it up to be sold for a POTD price of around £30 a go. No the seats might not be sold every match, but as they are the cheapest in the stadium for POTD they most likely will be the first to be sold. So a seat will only have to be sold around 3 or 4 times (to an adult) and it would generate the same income as a kids ST. As for the benefits thing, I'm bored of this now and has taken the thread way off topic. I still stand by my belief that if you want anything above the human right basics then you have to work for it or fund it yourself somehow, whether that is hobbies, holidays, fancy foods, days out, whatever. Thats my final word. If you don't agree, I'm fine with that.
  18. I believe these are already catered for aren't they?
  19. Was that when unemployment was at a record high and there were hundreds of applicants for even the basic jobs? It's very different now with vacancies unfilled. There is of course work from home, broadband etc which there wasn't back then. Most fit and able bodied people can now do some sort of work, but unfortunately the benefits system doesn't motivate them too. Obviously there are exceptions but I personally don't see why it would be feasible to offer discounts in this case. The cost will have to be found somewhere, and everything has a cost.
  20. There are plenty of parks etc for fresh air and exercise. If football really is a MUST stand on the touchline of a parks match. But to suggest a business should offer their expensive product at a further discount to people on benefits is a complete non starter.
  21. Why should people on benefits get discounted tickets? Isn't football a hobby? No matter how you sugar coat this it's not a necessity. Benefits from my understanding should only cover basic needs, food, warmth, transport. Not fags, booze, drugs, betting and Sky TV, and now football???!!! If people on benefits want those things they work for them or save up like everyone else!
  22. I saw Dizzee Rascal a couple of times, last time at Glastonbury where the stage (West Holts) was much too small for him, it was rammed and caused chaos with it being late and people trying to get by on the way to Shangri-la etc. I think he's lost a bit of credibility since then though, I fully expect Joey B to have a ticket!
  23. I'm happy, not delighted but I like Coldplay. Anyone wanting tickets in the resale might be easier than sometimes.
