Which I think reflects very poorly on Manning.

I would agree. He should have used the best and most logical replacement available, and it looks like he didn't. As it was we had nothing to play for really, but he can't be making these decisions as standard when we start the new season. That's what is concerning me going forward.

I thought LM had started to move away from that recently because it certainly hindered us.

I hope we’re not slipping back into these decisions.

I know we had CB issues today but that issues could have been resolved without so many positional changes

I've just read the Manning quote saying about not playing King there ' not in my time here' or something like that. Am I reading too much into that or is there a slight dig at Pearson? Obviously King is such a Pearson player and he doesn't want to use him as Pearson did, but wants to find his own solution? Just seems a strange thing to say.

True but we changed from 3 at the back to a back 4 at half time anyway so that might not have been an issue.

The way we set up today was again playing too many people out of position and the selection of King or even Knight-Lebel would of alleviated that problem.

I agree with you there. No need to move so many players out of position at all.

The starting line up to me looked like a back 4. Why ?
Because Sykes has never really looked comfortable at RWB , Knight has played all his best football in CMF and it seemed obvious.

If we were going to play a 3 , in a game that meant nothing why not give Knight - Label a run ? The "Pathway" remember , though that doesn't seem to exist any more.
JKL plays and it's a straight swap for Vyner, King would be the same, everyone can stay in the same positions as Wednesday when it all worked so well. But no .
To avoid playing a kid ...
We move Sykes, Knight , McCrorie, Tanner when one Player in keeps the same shape and system .

Everyone around me said it, but it took until Williams came off to drop Knight deeper. Another thing , why Williams off ? He was much better than James and he didn't look tired.

Sykes looks much better further forward , he is not a WB and doesn't look comfortable there.

Williams was clattered several times. Memetti was about to come on with Wells when Williams was injured so the bench delayed the decision until they decided what was happening with Williams. They gave it a few minutes but then subbed him off. I'm positive Williams was injured.

Andy King has done a job at CB and he could have played in the middle of Tanner and Roberts.

McCrorie RWB and then Sykes in an advanced position.

I’d of had Knight back in the midfield two with one of James or Williams

I don't think we would have got 90 (or 100) minutes out of him though?

Just seen one angle of the penalty again on their forum.

Mnnn..  at the time I felt like it was the right decision.

But now, to be honest, it looks very harsh.

I couldn't see it from the Lansdown, but got to add that so many of the crowd in the South Stand corner shouted handball at the time I believed it was. It was an immediate shout, a reaction to what they saw ( or believed they saw) not just a hopeful shout to influence the Ref from what I could tell.

Agreed. I have a sneaking suspicion our visitors might not think so!

Think some of Huddersfield's bench could be in trouble if she reports them for having a go at her as she left the pitch, lots of shouting and fingers in her face. Not nice.

    Superb City, God-awful Blackburn.

Imagine coming all the way down to witness your relegation-haunted team get horsewhipped like that.

Their final four fixtures - Leeds, Sheff W., Coventry, Leicester. They’re in deep scat.

I did feel sorry for them, only to quickly remember it happening to us quite a few times away too. Preston away for example I won't forget.

Maybe I misread but that's how @phantom's came across.

Unless the new system is responsible for the heavy marketing on social media etc. but that wouldn't seem to fit.

I didn't see the @phantom comment, but can confirm the ST tickets are counted.

I struggle to believe that the club has no idea of how many season tickets we've sold.

Who has said that, I think I missed that info. They have the exact figure, why wouldn't they?

Given that it’s the Easter holidays and there’ll be families etc away on holiday, giving people two days notice you’re into an exclusive window to find another seat or coordinate with people you sit next to?

Fairly shit treatment from the club. The notice is awful anyway but when there are likely to be people away? Not a strong look.

Also there isn't a rugby match where fans can talk to the fans seated near them to arrange to try to sit together next season in time.

  12. Just reading they have now dropped to 16th, but Forest are expecting to hear about a further deduction for them later this week.

So I guess it will be fixed so Everton are seemingly punished but escape the drop?

  13. I don't like all the sacking stuff, managers being given only part of a season to prove their worth....

However, and it's a huge however, it really feels to me like Manning is some sort of an interim Manager until we get the 'proper' one in. He is holding the fort, keeping things steady and unspectacular until the new appointment.

Obviously I do know that isn't the case, but that's how I tend to mentally treat him. I don't think of him as being sacked, just stepping aside when the new man arrives.

Then I realise there isn't anyone, no new Manager, and I realise, well 'Agggghhhh' sums it up

I smuggled some coins in. The search failed to discover my cunning concealment. Perhaps that was the crime those young girls were guilty of…

I did say at the time they probably had a vape or something! Btw, they didn't get my power bank either, I distracted her by telling her I only had sweets and a bar of chocolate and she was more interested in that 🤣

We was on that metro it was a Sunderland fan who pressed it

I did see a Sunderland fan and a City fan were taken off, well we were told by train security that he had admitted it so we all could go. The driver wouldn't move until it was sorted. They had been saying all along it was a group of 7 City fans but didn't know who it was, so all were going to be removed from the carriage, the 7 then separated, then removed. That was the plan by security who were waiting for the Police.

Why would you pull the cord on the metro knowing it would stop , I would want to be back in Newcastle on the piss asap 🎉🍾🍺

Dunno. But it was an experience being one of only 2 City fans in the next carriage along. Luckily a lot of good natured banter from the Sunderland fans and Geordies! Must have been a good half hour or more delay

Looked petrified sadly, no need, dragged them out in the 88th minute too, why?

Thought the one looked under 16 too…!

I saw them both, and 2 or 3 blokes before that. Yes they looked young, and certainly about 15 police and stewards was a massive over reaction.
