  1. Nooo...... time to leave Fam out from a starting X1, impact sub maybe but he's not going to bust a gut for the shirt - well documented in other threads Could not disagree more Fam always gives 100% and presently he is our only striker scoring goals.
  2. Bentley Vyner Kalas Moore Hunt Towler Massengo/Bakinson Williams Paterson Semenyo Famara Play offs still to aim for so hope to see something like this Towler more than deserves to retain his spot while with Wells seemingly completely out of sorts time to give AS a run alongside Fam.
  3. TM has a good game - distributed the ball well generally and was prepared to bring the ball out at pace - he has no doubt made mistakes but certainly has the attitude to succeed.
  4. am sure I saw a Sheffield hand push the ball away in the 1st half from a corner....
  5. yep think Massengo left Antoine right. As an aside great to see Gerry Sweeney on BCTV - would be happy with him in his pomp at left back today.
  6. what makes you think Nahki is playing as a winger. Could easily be a 10 alongside Fam which seems more likely.
  7. Given the injuries, no, I don't think we are anywhere near a top 6 side. Certainly over a consistent period. With a fully fit squad, I think we'd have a decent crack at a top 6 finish. Could not agree more - injuries and a hectic schedule have taken their toll this year. Promising signs with clear progress from the likes of Zak, Antoine and HNM, based on last night's performance. Play offs still possible and if not this year then happy to see Holden and team given another season, where hopefully we'll have a fully fit squad much more often.
  8. and yet the same person appointed Pat Lam, which seems to me to counter the arguments quite effectively- could not have a more high profile manager. Think its a case of SL choosing who he thinks is best able to do the job simple as that. He has been successful with Bristol and hopefully soon will be with Bristol City.
  9. think we showed signs but missed chances to kill the game. Had we scored the second earlier think we would have gone on to win much more comfortably.

    Famara

Fam not having trained due to a groin issue may explain why he did not start......
  11. Really? Wells had gilt edged chances today and blew them completely. Needs resting. Semenyo raw but kept driving forward. Not a great performance but 3 points despite the decimated squad. On on,
  12. we created chance after chance in that match - misses by Wells, twice, Martin, Semenyo and others were the difference between a stroll in the park and the eventual close match. Thankfully Fam took the chance where others had failed to do so. Some very good things but more composure still required. Concerned we picked up two more injuries. Surely our luck in that regard will change soon.
  13. Pretty much the team I'd like to see - hope we go back to 3-5-2 for both of the next two.
  14. think the formation for the match did not help - 3-5 2 should have allowed us to have more control and I hope we go back to that set up for the visit of Millwall.
  15. Would like to see us revert to 352 at the weekend with Fam and Nakhi up top giving Antoine rest and dropping COD back into midfield with the remit to do the defending Nakhi was doing last night..need more chanxces dropping to Nakhi and 352 seems a better shape to achieve that. Excellent work by both Nakhi and COD for the goal last night allied to their all round display.
