  1. think we showed signs but missed chances to kill the game. Had we scored the second earlier think we would have gone on to win much more comfortably.

    Famara

Fam not having trained due to a groin issue may explain why he did not start......
  3. Really? Wells had gilt edged chances today and blew them completely. Needs resting. Semenyo raw but kept driving forward. Not a great performance but 3 points despite the decimated squad. On on,
  4. we created chance after chance in that match - misses by Wells, twice, Martin, Semenyo and others were the difference between a stroll in the park and the eventual close match. Thankfully Fam took the chance where others had failed to do so. Some very good things but more composure still required. Concerned we picked up two more injuries. Surely our luck in that regard will change soon.
  5. Pretty much the team I'd like to see - hope we go back to 3-5-2 for both of the next two.
  6. think the formation for the match did not help - 3-5 2 should have allowed us to have more control and I hope we go back to that set up for the visit of Millwall.
  7. Would like to see us revert to 352 at the weekend with Fam and Nakhi up top giving Antoine rest and dropping COD back into midfield with the remit to do the defending Nakhi was doing last night..need more chanxces dropping to Nakhi and 352 seems a better shape to achieve that. Excellent work by both Nakhi and COD for the goal last night allied to their all round display.
  8. Gregor and my team the same - hopeful thats what we'll see. Plenty of options then from the bench as well.
  9. Bentley Vyner Kalas Moore Hunt Bakinson Nagy O'Dowda Dasilva Wells Martin While TM has made mistakes think he is the one tasked with bringing it out from the back earlier in the season and at times he did that to very good effect. With Bakinson and Nagy in front of him that should make life a lot easier.
  10. still have some of these available. Am sure they'd make a good Xmas present for someone. DM me for details and lets hope we see a few goal celebrations from the reds on Wednesday.

    Dire

Real positives from last night in addition to the 3 points were : the performance of COD - great play for the 2nd goal and a hand in the 1st we were able to rest Pato and Hunt, which should see them back with more energy for the weekend. Same for Fam. we were able to give match time to Mariapa and Brunt which can only help them. Looking forward to two home games with a more fully fit squad
  12. So Gregor is saying that City regularly test the Women's squad but not the men's? He tweeted this yesterday Following a round of COVID-19 testing Bristol City Women head coach Tanya Oxtoby has tested positive and begun a 10-day self-isolation period. Academy Manager Gary Probert has come into support the women’s coaching staff while Oxtoby is unable to attend matches. #BristolCity
  13. odd given 5 staff tested positive last week. How did that happen if testing is not being done on a regular basis????
  14. Thanks to all who have purchased so far. Sending a donation of 105 to Robins Foundation this evening. Seacider yours will be on its way to you 1st thing tomorrow...

  16. 2 points off top spot after 11 matches. Just think where we'll be when we get set-piece delivery right!!
  17. Not to your taste I guess but agree with your comments on Scott and John. Personally think it captures both Scott and the celebration really well.
  18. Hoping for 3 points this evening and a Scotty style celebration from whoever scores.

  21. Shattered did seem a good description. Needed to take our chances when we made them. Still there is a good basis to build on though we could surely do with Williams Walsh and Sess back soon.
  22. bigger question was why we had given up possession of the ball to allow the cross in the first place. With just a little more composure we would have retained possession and that challenge would never have happened. Far from single handed...
