I honestly think he couldn’t give a **** anymore, he wants out with as much money back as possible.

Possibly hoisted by his own petard if the slightly more complex group structure of Bristol Sport essentially precludes the football club being hived off and sold as a separate entity. That might need revisiting in order to get rid.

  2. I find the talk of Nige's health very distaseful. It's a private matter and should remain so. Unless & until he can't do the job he is being paid to do, then it should be no concern of anyone but Nige, his family (if he chooses to share), and his doctors. He's not 100%, we have a threadbare squad, and we are 8th in the table; that's telling me all I need to know about his capabilities. I do however worry that his health might be a 'convenient' way, for the powers that be, to bin him off. That would be a low low move, and I would expect better from our great club.

Obviously down to the rugby being on at 8pm.

Will the 'rosey cheeked lady garden' be providing them with one of his famed big screens again for the semi?!

Saying that, given the Babestation debacle, maybe it's best not to talk of screens & semis where the Gas are concerned :gasmask:

I think people underestimate or fail to understand the value of someone like Nakhi off the pitch as well as on.

I have been told that he devotes a large amount of time to talking to the young players coming through and being available for advice.

On the pitch it's often his running and the space he creates that allows others to play, I hope I am wrong but I think the latter will become more obvious if he is out for a length of time. He doesn't go down easily and he doesn't stay down unnecessarily, so I am afraid that a lot of that workhorse stuff may be falling on Cornick's shoulders for a few weeks.

Let's just hope the younger players aren't looking for advice on vaccines 🫣

  5. Cov fans not overawed with their performances this season, feel like their funds from Hamer & Gyokeres not been spent in the correct positions. Simms has a lot more to do to convince them of his £8m pricetag. Particularly troubling them are having Liam Kelly & Josh Eccles in the midfield, with some injuries in those positions as well, which I think Kelly has just added to. Cov there for the taking if you ask me!!!

As often happens, Wednesday’s next match is home to local rivals Huddersfield, who, of course, are now managed by none other than Wednesday’ Playoff winning manager, Darren Hooper.

Good old 'Hoops', what a manager he is!

Darren Way his assistant appointment. No Jamie Mac to be seen….

Oh, I am surprised, Hibs situation could be have been complicated I guess by Jamie Mac's lad heading up there at a crucial stage in his life. Just need Skiv to get involved now and we nearly have a full Glovers' set.

  8. If I were him, I think I would hit the property development harder. Has a proven track record there, with much easier bang for your buck. Why the dickens would you put yourself through the travails of football management, when a great alternative is on offer where you do have a history of success...
