McNally & Doyle were quality for them last season (would have loved for us to go for McNally, I suspect Doyle would have been unobtainable), and a bit of a surprise to see neither of them back with them for 2023/24.

Cov have recruited well, don't how they manage it, but Robins is quite some manager.

They have to pay money for a professional company......
They may have just learnt the old adage “If You Think It's Expensive To Hire A Professional To Do The Job, Wait Until You Hire An Amateur.”

Tough gig making the breakthrough as a GK, especially with so many younger ones on our books, but the very best of luck to him!

For some of those, they must be on the road for more than two hours per single trip. Wrexham to Dagenham must be about 3 and a half hours driving but Wrexham to Manchester and Southend to Dagenham must be at least two hours.
It's mad
Yeah, with all the faff of getting to the aiport then time taken actually boarding/disembarking, flight time, getting to other end and getting on a coach to get to the respective ground...some must be quicker just to go direct by coach...

Not sure what's funnier, "stadium" or "superstore"
Very much enjoying the public convenience vibe to this, George Michael would be proud!!!

Araoye seemingly well fancied, and fast-tracked perhaps for the start of the season...

Fondly remember him giving the Atyeo Stand dogs' abuse whilst walking down the tunnel, as the manager of the lesser BCFC, at the turn of the millenium.
RIP

This lad is probably due a free season ticket from the club

Also have someone's data on my a/c. Same different name that is.

Why ?
I get that its local, but I don't think Carey has any kudos at City.
I mean, why would we give any kudos to our record appearance holder?!

3 so far but questions need to be asked how we missed out on Bellingham though. Robin Bellingham that is.
More chance with Linda Bellingham.

That's not how transfer fees work
There are a multitude of factors that influence price, like the financial resources of buyer and seller, commercial benefits, the player's contract length, age and, of course, ability.
Also, on the football side specifically - Alex Scott is an incredibly talented footballer but you're comparing him to a player with over 1,500 champions league minutes, who has 24 England senior appearances and was involved in a goal once every other game from midfield this season. And Jude Bellingham is only a couple months older than Scott!
Generational is a phrase that gets thrown around too much in football but Bellingham's output is staggering and he fits the 'generational' tag.
is there a more nauseating contemporary sporting term than 'generatational'...

Let’s not forget when he arrived here he was still getting over an awful spell of long covid, he then had a relapse which had us wondering if we’d seen the last of him when he took some time off.
That all looks behind him now thank goodness, his health would have been his first priority but with that looking sorted and things at work on the up him and the rest of us are all looking younger………..maybe!
Yeah, I reckon he could have been quite close to chucking it all in during that relapse. No evidence for that position, and one shouldn't speculated on health matters etc, but I was astonished when he came back. Seems to have gone from strength to strength since then as well.

Are we the current highest ranked of those, as well

Linking up with his old mucker KP.

He's played 37 games
Defender Kyle McFadzean plays for Coventry City and has played in the vast majority of the club's Championship matches in 2022/2023, making 37 appearances overall and playing 3,098 minutes. He has started in 36 of these appearances across their 48 fixtures and entered as a substitute on one occasion.
We shall have to debate whether 25% is a good chunk

Dont worry Coventry you have Kasey Palmer to come on later
On a serious note that McFazdean is bloody awful how Coventry have done so well with him in defence most of the season is a mystery
He’s been out for a good chunk of it to be honest. McNally has been a great loan acquisition.

You isolate Fadz out wide and that can happen. I still fancy Cov over the 90.

I wonder if he played today even though he was ill…

Dave Rennie was lauded by some as the Messiah, not looking that way now, sadly. Hopefully some reflection on how hard the lads were pushed pre-season, maybe the balance a little off...
