  1. I understand martin luther king said he hoped people would be judged on the content of their character. The truth is that some people are a-holes, jessie smollett is one, assuming what happened was indeed a set up. I know straight a-holes and gay a-holes who i wouldnt pee on if they were on fire. But i also know nice straight people and nice gay people. Good luck to this lad, whoever it is, but i understand why he is nervous.... football brings out a mob mentality where people behave in ways they wouldnt normally do, and its certainly possible he will be getting comments from opposing fans.
  2. Correct me if im wrong but i dont think moore has scored 15 goals in a championship season, and diedhou has got a hell of a lot closer, and thats whats we ought to be looking for. Spend money on a striker by all means, but make it a worthwhile upgrade on what we have already
  3. Well its certainly not taylor or weimann.
  4. Can someone tell me why we would bring in a 15 goal league 1 striker to replace a 15 goal championship striker?
  5. I dont really see any much bigger clubs coming in,, aside from the top 6, theres not a massive amount between the rest, and i dont see the top 6 launching a bid for any championship defender, whether its webster or not
  6. Im about half way through,, excellent work, well done!
  7. With us having a young striker already in semenyo, thats like us buying in a young arsenal striker
  8. Im kinda guarded on this,,, it seems like there have been various young premier league forwards in the championship over the last few years, the results can be hit and miss. Tammy was sensational, players like that james wilson from man u barely kicked a ball. Obviously this kid has all the tools, until he gets smashed on day 1 by pontus jansson, and then gets a harsh lesson about championship football. Fingers crossed he is another tammy though.
  9. Yes i just looked that up,,, thats crazy money for freeman, but excellent for us.... if he did go for about 300k, that seems to me to be quite a low price at the time, perhaps the sell on clause was raised up a bit higher to sweeten the deal?
  10. He also suggested it was common sense that we would be signing our players after 1 july, and he was right.... apart from the ones that signed before 1 july obviously.
  11. The first mover was kelly to bournemouth, which obviously helped to facilitate the signings weve made since.
  12. I like to think bcfc conducts itself in a certain way with transfers, fees are usually undisclosed, and theres not usually any negative press talk about our transfer business. dont know about the webster purchase, but the difference in salary between 2 championship clubs isnt as marked as a championship to premier league transfer. Comparing those 2 transfers is like apples and pears.
  13. Poor litts, he doesnt deserve that. so whens their billionaire going to buy their way to world domination?
