  1. Happily basking in Stokes unbelievably unbelievable innings. As a fellow speccy I thought Jack Leach’s glasses cleaning was very sensible and the pressure on him not to get out must have been immense. Batting still as fragile as a 90 year olds skeletal frame. So sadly still think Australia will retain ashes However if England can bat for a decent amount of time runs will come. I just don’t believe they can.
  2. Agree you need to score runs to try and keep pressure on bowlers but skipping down the track to the third ball when your forte is playing off the back foot late is madness.
  3. Disagree. The players for what ever reason are not using their heads. Take Stokes for example an unforgivable way to get out should have left the ball well alone. Then look at Lords when he hit his century. So he can do it. Why did he not today? Only he knows
  4. Disappointed if we do sign him hardly a ball playing centre half.
  5. @Davefevs out of the three centre backs was one of them the primary distributor or was it fairly even? Did the second half show a drop in the punt forward??
  6. Bentley Hunt Kalas Moore Dasilva Brownhill Elliason Szmodics Rowe Weimann Fammy 451 subs made Palmer Afobe Nagy Scrappy score draw
  7. I don’t think playing Elliason means you automatically are continually putting crosses in to the box. You need width to make use of all the pitch as otherwise it becomes very congested and you need to keep the opposition guessing as to through the middle or out wide.
  8. A lack of width with this as you asking the full backs to do a heck of a lot ??
  9. I can only think he has been told he will no longer be first choice one the two midfielders joined and decided to move on rather than fight for his place? Or perhaps Cardiff approached and we said ok but we need to sign replacement first?? As others have said money signing on fee, goodbye bonus from club means the bank balance is looking good. I feel similar to when Cole Skuse left. Not too fussed. So good luck Marlon all the best.
  10. Count me in. perhaps a voluntary donation??
  11. Ex Bristol City player signs for Cardiff. Quickest way to win them over??? Answer = Put your hands on head He’ll get a clap from me when he visits.
  12. Really pleased with this infact ecstatic. Hopefully sends a message to others mulling over moves to BS3 that it is the place to be!
