The easiest games at this stage of the season are likely to be against teams with nothing to play for. Three of our games are against teams needing points to avoid the drop who will be fighting for their lives.
So basically those 7 really want to be playing us then

So you're saying there's a chance?
Of getting 4 points from 7 games ..... Yeah!

I think the correct term is that they both need development.

Surprised it says Liverpool FC instead of Bristol City FC.
This has a Liam Manning feel all over it.
I heard that a the AI coach was coaching Manning how to pretend to be a human.

I would prefer that he just talked about emotions to a different interviewer, preferably one at a club in a league where he is more suited like the conference.

Completely agree. IMO way too soon to judge Manning. He came in mid season with only a Jan window to make changes.
Fans knew our squad was a midtable side and laughed when Tinnion said it should be competing for promotion, but now are loosing their minds because the team isn’t living up to the claims of Tinnion which they never believed in the first place!
Fans need to give him a fair crack. Give Manning a preseason and an opportunity to shape a squad and see how we go.
I don't get this, if he is visibly taking our current squad backwards i.e. taking mid table team and making them relegation fodder. Why would you give him time and money to bring in players just to lower there quality as well?

Ross Stern has made it 3-0
Interesting to see Truro had reverted to playing tonight's "home" game at Taunton... Who wants to guess what happened
Any idea what sort of standard of players they have now?
Terrible, they spent most of the evening thinking they were better than they are and passing the ball to Taunton, first 2 goals were gifts.

I think this is all about Swansea, Considering we played Swansea away on mother's day last year it can't be a coincidence that the fixture computer puts us on this weekend and then the police move it to the Sunday. We've played on the same day as Rovers a couple times in the last few years so I don't think that matters one bit.

I thought he was one of the better players today, but like the OP I can't figure out what he did. A bit like I use to view Skuse.

I can’t bring myself to watch BT or JL these days. They are both bumbling idiots. I can’t believe SL made his billions by employing idiots or making nepotistic appointments either, so how it thinks it’ll work in professional football I don’t know. I find it all pretty worrying.
Because this is his toy and that was a business where he had a competent partner.

Top 6 sides don't lose 4 in a row having played 2 of those games against teams in the bottom 3, that's not dropping off a bit - that's blowing the slim chance you had!

Brought up emotion, emotions, and players getting too emotional about 5 times as the reason we lost tonight

It does make you think is it the mad King and his Bristol sport empire
I'm not sure it's a thought anymore, the only constant is that it's us (fans) or him (owner), and as far as I can tell under his ownership we don't have any say in how the club is run so it can't be us.

I'm not sure I'd ever say this out loud but I have this season wondered if Mark Ashton wasn't actually the problem.
You've just said it on a forum thread watched by 13 people, how out loud wouldn't you say it?
He was a big part of the problem. The model he was working to here would have been ok if we knew how to recruit properly (like Brentford), he was in charge of the books and he made himself head of recruitment. So overspending and poor recruitment sat with him.

We've turned into one of those clubs that just knows how to lose. It's become a habit again!
-
Yep, everyone has raised expectations based on what the execs have said and we are clearly falling a long way short of.
I feel sorry for Manning, a job he wanted, a club desperate for him to do well and a level he isn't capable of.

Yep, Agree with all of that but .... It isn't good enough.
-
Yep, there is no good will left for the hierarchy except from the most happy clapping fans so things will get ugly if we lose to Cardiff for sure.

Gone with back him through gritted teeth. Really worried how far he is going to take us backwards.

Well that was a painful watch.

Jonny Ray is an experienced live presenter and voice over artist description of his voice:
British, Authoritative, Rich, Warm, Friendly, Conversational,
Additional skills:
Experienced professional radio broadcaster at local, regional and national level. Presentation experience includes live and pre-recorded programmes, live general election coverage, news, current affairs, entertainment, sport, religion & faith. Can record VOs at home or on location.i note from his CV that sport does feature , but what sport!—- he’s got a managing media MSC from Stirling University!!!!!
I Suspect he has shockingly poorly paid and inexperienced research assistant/social media reader feeding him the lines…..he sounded horribly unconvincing for an experienced presenter and voice over artist - unless he specialises in amateur and hyper register ham DJ characterisation……
So rent a presenter then!

I don't want Manning as manager but I still hope he gets us promoted!
Anyone that wants to see us lose might as well be gas.
