    Deidhou

Would be nice if the people on this thread could be bothered to spell Diedhiou's name right FFS

Johnson - No new striker incoming (Merged)

I just hope we’re somewhere around mid-table on 1st Jan. We really don’t want to be bottom 6-8 come the new year and suddenly looking to buy everything in sight FFS.
  3. As per title. Reported in Bristol Post 5 mins ago on Twitter. Full transcript from the after match interview on there. Apparenty “that’s us done now, maybe looking to bring in a CB with the injuries we have there” Wow
  4. To make things worse Luke Steele just scored a pen
  5. We needed to really win this, so that he could have played in round 2 for some match fitness before league game against Blackburn.
  6. Controversial comment incoming. I think Liam Walsh is a waste of money and will never fully make it at this football club.

    Team v Plymouth

Swear Jamie Mac just said on twitter video clip about he selection that Kelly and Da Silva are both down the left hand side?! God I'm confused....

    Team v Plymouth

Ahhh you’re right. Beat Plymouth then Fam would be able to play in that 2nd round Carabao tie, on the 28/29th August. His first league game would potentially be Blackburn at home on 2nd Sep.

    Team v Plymouth

Important to win this as get through to the 2nd round, and that game would also count towards one of Diedhiou’s 6 match ban. So it would then just be 4 league games and 2 cup games that he’d miss.

Jay Dasilva Signed - NOW CONFIRMED

Ideally two. But the problem is, I don't think Johnson views Kelly as a 'specialist left back' but as a CB who can play at LB. Da Silva coming in would enable Kelly to compete with Baker for the left sided CB slot. Also, if Johnson wants to go to a 3-5-2 system in the near future, having Kelly, Pring and Da Silva would be ideal. Kelly could slot in on the left side of the three, with Da Silva and Pring competing for the LWB slots. If you've seen Da Silva play, you'll know how much he likes to get forward, and effectively too it seems. Pring could probably do with a loan to Plymouth or something mind you. But then he is 20 now, so he might as well be a part of our squad, and I think he looks decent.

Jay Dasilva Signed - NOW CONFIRMED

I didn't want to continue reading after this part.

Jay Dasilva Signed - NOW CONFIRMED

We'll probably end up with Rui Da Silva knowing our luck.

Joe Bryan - Signed for Fulham CONFIRMED

No point as they have Robertson and Douglas. Better chance with England you’d think

Joe Bryan - Signed for Fulham CONFIRMED

Gutting. Thought he was part of the England set up!!!! Damn

Realise you’re going to be spending everyday on the training ground with Hutton, Elphick and Lansbury... OR... Realise you can swap this (even at the 11th hour) to be spending time on the training ground everyday with young highly rated, & potential England internationals in Mawson, Sessegnon and Cairney. Fair play Joe Bryan.
