Excited by the line-up, midfield could look better, but intrigued to see how it works out.

He was signed as a back-up striker who had Championship experience. He's had an ineffective season. He didn't START the game, he came on because our number 9 was exhausted. He needed to come on.

Yes it is great progress. We'll have won many more games and salvaged many more draws if we finish 10th.

But what does bringing on a loan signing as a substitute have anything to do with not wanting to gain promotion?
