We look solid but so uninspiring, i dont fear us losing games as much but theres no creativity. We need a number 10 to unlock the spaces, whats the point in having inverted wingers to cut inside to nothing all game. -
Hes definitely chosen the wrong jobs, i think hes only got national league left with his reputation now, feel for him, always thought he would be a good coach but management just doesnt seem to work for him.
-
To be fair, this new champions league format they are trying to force on us next year looks dreadful, the thought of a super league doesnt bother me, its the fact they wanted to just leave our leagues and make it impossible for other teams to qualify for it. So just for that it shouldn't happen, we all know that once they start it, they will be looking to vote on them staying in it forever.
-
Hes probably one of our most talented wingers apart from sykes, he just needs to start more games, mehmeti on the left and sykes on the right is definitely our best options, id love to see more of this, cornick starting more up front is a must too.

None of the happy clappers can tell me sacking nigel pearson was a good idea at this stage of the season, if hes a good manager, play to the strengths, not just change the whole philosophy, pearson knew this.- 1041 replies

Norwich City home match thread

I live up north but been to 4 home games now with family that dont watch football and this club is definitely not converting new fans. We are a solid midtable championship team, the tactics baffle me tho. Is this the cool new meta to play football? Pass the ball around the back for 10 mins while Norwich put everyone behind the ball and put it to inverted wingers who cut back and pass back to repeat the same boring process??. I like matty james but have some vision, hit a ball into the wings, not just pass back and sideways, was great when joe williams came on and moved it forward. Im just bored tbh, its terrible football to watch. -
"He did a solid job, he addressed some major issues but was sacked with us in a worse League position than Johnson and Holden. But that hides the good things he did yet exposes the bad." Thats what you put so yeh you did mention johnson
-
Your acting like he had the same transfer funds as johnson the whole reason everyone loved pearson was because of the job he did with no funds... his win record means nothing if hes not backed.

Why would they want to get promoted then sell the club? It will be the most profitable period in the clubs history

How jon lansdown thinks this team should be doing better is beyond me, were missing a 20 goal striker and a certain number 10 we sold -

Whoever found this site is a star, saw it here a month ago and watched bristol city every game since, great for fans that dont live near Bristol -
At this rate why even get a head coach might aswel give tins the job full time as hes that deluded
-
The problem is the next manager to come in is going to be so disliked if they dont hit the ground running. Just imagine the scenes if they get a good transfer kitty in January? Alot of the fan base will be like where was this money in the summer. Even 5 million of the scott money in the summer would of given us at least 2 or 3 good players that would of taken us up a level and probably be in the playoffs right now.

Looking at their squad, it seems if they dont go up they must have extremely high wages..

We set up completely wrong first half but credit to pearson for changing it just before halftime, maybe if he didnt we wouldn't of scored. Dickie was quality, sykes is a warrior, pring shaky at times but did great in the end. To be this close to the playoffs with the amount of investment we have had these past years is a credit to pearson and the backroom staff.- 431 replies
