  1. Just watched the first half on Robins TV so just popped on here to see what people think of our first half showing.I must be watching a different game judging by some of the posts I've read.....After a decent opening they have dominated us and could have gone in 3 or 4 up.We haven't had a shot and our passing is woeful. We are going to have to up our game to get anything from this at all.As a side note I just wish Fam was as effective in their box as he is in ours.
  2. I watched the game on Robins TV and I thought we were very poor. Totally overrun and when we did get the ball we gave it straight back to them. Leeds were in poor form leading up to our game but we gave them the initiative from the start with our formation that left us chasing shadows. How we only lost by one was nothing short of miraculous thanks to Bentley. We looked lost with no plan in the first half and although we were better in the second I couldn't see us scoring.
  3. The table never tells the 'truth' until the season is over, before then it lies on a weekly basis.
  4. I really thought we were heading for a hammering after the start we made. We were hammered but thankfully the score did not reflect their dominance.
  5. I still feel a lot of the unrest is purely down to our home form and performances.A huge majority never go to away games where we have an amazing record compared to fairly dismal home performances .LJ has certainly improved our away form in 4 seasons from poor to very good but our home form has not improved nearly enough. To get play offs or top 6 the win rate needs to be above 50% at home but is below that since he's been here.
  6. Whilst year on year progression (league position) cannot be argued with do people think our performances have progressed? We have definitely improved our away form in LJ''s tenure to become a side with a very good ppg ratio. The problem is our home form has remained below average in the same period. In his 3 full seasons and this season so far he has failed to win 50% of home games and this is why the majority of fans become frustrated. Many fans cannot go to away games and only see the games at AG which have not been good to say the least.
  7. I don't see Pato as an out and out midfielder whose best position has always been as a 10.
  8. I think our MF has been our Achilles heel all season. Now JB has gone not one of our midfield players has that extra bit of quality that is needed at this level. JB weighed in with a few goals for us but I can't see our current MF players scoring 1 or 2 between them.
  9. It has been most of the season and is even weaker now with JB going. We have a player on our books that had rave reviews playing in the Euro qualifiers and will probably going to the finals,he also kept Ethan Ampadu out of the side to play in a must win game and was outstanding. We were seemingly in for Ampadu but RB Leipzig wouldn't release him.Personally I feel he's a better player than KS who has been a shadow of the player he was before the injury he had.
  10. Bang on the money, probably the easiest of decisions he could have made that would have got the crowd buzzing and given NW a good home debut.I fail to see what AW brings to the side apart from the fact that he chases about..........Tonight he had a shocker, passing, shooting and heading were awful..........and he stayed on.
  11. He has the most saves of the championship keepers (maybe wrong, although it's high) but with our MF you can see why.We seem to let teams play through us right up to the edge of our area then it's down to the central defenders or keeper to sort it out.I just don't think our midfielders are good enough for upper levels of the championship.
  12. I thought he did ok tonight and looked bright on the ball. Sadly Weimann was truly awful and apart from his 'graft' offered absolutely nothing.
  13. I reckon if they could get that Arsenal lad in on loan they might start putting away the numerous chances they create.Always forget his name.......................
  14. Where in my post did I say I wasn't happy with 3 points and a win? I know we've struggled to break teams down but I'm just putting the 3 wins from 4 in perspective with the quality of the opposition together with poor performance as a team.
  15. Your support (Matty taylor is god) is admirable but the 3 wins from 4 have been against the 3 bottom teams two of which have the same points as us combined. In their last 15 games they have between them amassed the sum total of 10 points comprising 2 wins and 4 draws. As positive as 3 wins from 4 sounds brilliant the performances have been awful.
