    Jay DaSilva

@Davefevsinteresting take on how you see Da Silva because I think the majority of the time you can pick out a decent player by the way he receives the ball and already knows what he's going to do with it before it arrives. Coupled with the fact he has two good feet and a fair bit of pace I think he'd be a great signing for us.

    Pressing like last season

It seems a lot more of a cohesive press this year with players knowing when to go as opposed to just blindly chasing the ball/player down. It's certainly looking effective at the moment and seems it can be sustainable as well because it seems more thought out.

    Lee Johnson Praise Thread

The only time that the league table doesn't lie is when the last game has been played.Thankfully and due to our extremely impressive away form we sit very comfortably mid table. LJ has done a good job achieving consolidation in what is a very tough and competitive division. Long may it continue and if we could get our home form up and running who knows where we could finish up. The plaudits currently are warranted but as we are just past the halfway stage let's hope it carries on being that way and doesn't take a downward turn as nobody is safe in this division at this stage of the season.

Feels good being a city fan.

There has been a few and most of them mentioned on this thread but the one game and night I will never forget was the 2008 Palace semi.A brilliant game that had it all, great goals, missed penalty for them and then the clincher from McIndoe. I was still buzzing the next day and just couldn't wait for the final to come round and that turned out to be a massive anti climax.....

How hard a league is the Championship to get out of?

Look at the quality they both bought in though, all ready to play at a good level...

Fulham have spent over 100 million this season hardly a drop in the ocean.......

    2018 Statistics - Not a good year.

Probably means that we're not quite good enough like the rest that haven't made it. There are also some in league one that have "made it".

    Ratings v Rotherham

It sometimes amazes me watching Famara defending in our box and winning headers on a regular basis yet rarely wins headers at the other end....baffling.

    Our "play-style"

Put this on another post earlier @spudski After watching that Dave what struck me is that we seriously lack any pace going forward. Rotherham certainly didn't sit back as a lot predicted but must of thought they could get something and until the sending offs looked more than capable of achieving it. We just look so predictable and I lost count of the number of times we turned and went backwards rather than drive to the bye line. It's three points in the bag so can't really ask for much more..........apart from a decent performance that gets the crowd fired up instead of the recent constant groans.

    Johnson’s got go

Or imagine if we had a midfielder that could create chances that the forwards could put away.............

‘WE’RE WORKING HARD TO SEE GAMES OUT’

Couldn't agree more Dave. Sat in the SS with my mates watching a game we are dominating and sticking our CB upfront. That defeat destroyed us and certainly put an end to the confidence and ultimately the way the season panned out for us. It seems we still haven't recovered from it........
