  1. Cabot took 5 ships and 300 men with him to America, but was gutted when he heard that the Pirates took 8 ships and 500 men on a day trip to Lundy. True fact that is.
  2. Don't worry. If a top talent signs for Rovers, he's sure to have an affordable buyout clause!
  3. Diony, on the other hand, sang like a canary. Bring him back!
  4. Happy 30th Kelly!
  5. Thought he put in a shift today. Looked after the ball well, but had few opportunities to play killer passes - the game was too tight for that. Decent 7/10 today for me.

Agreed, Weimann’s industry doesn’t go unnoticed. As for Fam’s touch, I feel for him. Few strikers can hold their own when playing as a lone striker at this level. If playing with a partner, Fam wouldn’t be expected to bring high balls under control instantly with his chest - he’d be able to flick them on, play one twos, etc. As a lone striker he was predictable, allowing defenders to surround him, poaching the ball. I hope he gets a chance to play up top with Afobe, accepting it will be mostly as a sub to begin with.

Good acceleration and used strength cleverly to shield defenders from the ball. Totally different player to Fam and I think they could play together. Reckon we’d see a new Fam then, finally having someone to share the workload
  8. Injury is ‘hopefully a 2-3 day thing’ So expect him to return to action by Xmas
  9. Whilst we're clutching at straws, he's a mate of a current City player, who might (just might) persuade him to come here!
  10. I thought our last hungry player was Tomlin - ferocious appetite for pies
  11. We've learnt from the Tammy experience and factored driving lessons into the presentation we gave Arsenal. Hopefully, that'll be the deal clincher!
  12. Not sure if this has been answered, but it was Steve Neville
  13. Not if he’s out on loan!
  14. Dasilva, Palmer, Kalas AND another unnamed Chelsea player, the latter a loan, is what I heard we were working on. Absolutely no idea who the other was, but ties in with LJ's interview earlier this week (re good working relationship with Chelsea).
  15. Perhaps Keane is going elsewhere? Leicester, for instance.
  16. Spot on, Webdini will be replaced by Webgreedy or similar!
  17. Then my eyes deceive me
  18. Absolute joke, cleared the ball without excessive follow through. Would it have been awarded in Norway's favour if it happened at the other end? No chance!
  19. Only those too lazy to read OTIB
  20. A fans tribute held when we play Leeds next season would be fitting, with TC guest of honour, health permitting of course. Naming a box after him doesn’t feel right to me, too corporate for a hands on legend. Perhaps the singing section should have a name “Cooper’s Corner” “TC’s”. He deserves a lasting tribute too, perhaps Banksy could knock up a mural ️
  21. In exchange for McBurnie... please!
  22. All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, a growing team, fantastic stadium, what have the Lansdown’s ever done for us?
  23. Now we’ve found an excellent holding midfielder, could be an option to rest Pack, with games coming thick n fast
  24. I think it’s a mindset, we’re too cautious. When we go at teams we look quality. Of course, we can’t be gung-ho all the time, but we’ll win more than we lose (or draw) with a bit more ambition. A wider pitch may help in that respect, as well as making it harder for teams to defend.
