  1. Agreed, it's a PCI DSS thing, so there's no way our PAN data was held 'in the clear'. Hence, I don't think there's anything to worry about here - looks like a testing faux pas to me!
  2. If you're referring to payment data, then there is a need to obfuscate. As @BRISTOL86 says, the most plausible explanation is that the ticketing operator was carrying out some tests and accidentally sent a payment request into Wordplay's live environment, triggering the payments. But I see nothing here to suggest that Wordpay's storage of our payment details has been compromised.
  3. FFP will be interesting given the current climate and will almost certainly need to be relaxed for a period, if not waived altogether for a year or so.
  4. Sold out away end, everyone wearing blue, I heard
  5. Neither if the ref was Keith Stroud
  6. Cardiff will have a similar dilemma in April and I suspect they'll choose to chant Ash Williams' name throughout the game!
  7. Personally, I shall applaud him onto the pitch for his services to hair transplants and for giving hope to baldies.
  8. The ground has a pretty good vibe match days and is probably your best bet given the early kick off. But pace yourself as its England v Wales in the afternoon, where I'm sure you'll want to cheer on...errr... England from one of the local bars. Should set you up for a fun evening. Head for the centre for the evening - lots of bars, etc on the water front if you're still up for it!
  9. Understand to a degree, but you quickly get found out in this league. You have to keep morphing to stay ahead of the game, subtle changes (not overhauls) to maintain an edge. Its hard to justify personnel changes when on a winning run, but we have a tough run of games in Feb and I hope LJ will use the squad wisely. We can't expect Williams and Baker to be at their best when playing twice a week!
  10. Agent Walsh sent off for a two-footed lunge at their best player!
  11. .... to the faraway towns Now war is declared and battle come down
  12. God thinking. And to reciprocate, we'll loan them Wells!
  13. All dressed in suits, carrying umbrellas. That's how the home end (side) was infiltrated (undercover). Walked across to the other side, then all hell broke loose.
  14. You do indeed. Playing pool at the time and the cues came in very handy - saved us from a battering! We weren't given the normal area reserved for away fans, being chucked in the 'bear pit' instead (you needed to be 6ft to see the pitch), but the bear pit emptied when it kicked off in the stand behind. Different times.
  15. Interesting day out - five of us travelled up, three came home. Stockport the following week was almost as bad.
  16. There are ways around that, ask Derby
  17. Or hope that someone lands on one of their hotels, giving them some cash to spend. ps QPR are owned by a group of very wealthy men, including the 3rd richest man in the world. FFP ties their hand, of course, but I reckon they could rustle up £5m between them
  18. THEY HAVE SOME MONEY! But do they have enough? That's the real question. They don't have as much money as some in the race, that's for sure. BTW, despite never playing championship manager, I have noticed that players have a lot of influence these days. If Nahki doesn't want to go somewhere, he doesn't have to. He can rest up in Burnley's ressers should he wish. Burnley wouldn't want that, of course.
  19. Top level football is big business these days - QPR can't afford to move onto other targets without the leverage they have on this one (i.e. player wants to go there). I don't think they will pull out of the bidding race just to save face. We'll see though.
  20. I would have recalled him if QPR were submitting embarrassing offers - helps focus minds
  21. I'm 98% certain that, one way or another, Wells will end up at QPR. They are hardly going to start their negotiations with "We've got loads of money, name your price and we'll pay it". If they have FFP issues, they could strike a loan to buy deal, which may (or may not) interest Burnley. In terms of 'why did Burnley recall him?', then I suggest they're playing a smart game, helping QPR (or any other suitor) to focus on proposing the right deal. FWIW, I think we enquired about Wells a few weeks back, but haven't taken it another further. Yes, they are after Brownhill, but I don't think Wells is the player we're after in exchange (I think its Gibson on loan - they surely won't sell or loan him to Watford given their respective league positions).
