  1. Also in need of a ticket if one going! for a friend. Happy to pay for unused ST or otherwise. thanks!
  2. Anyone know what virgin channel I need to watch the game? Cheers!
  3. I don't know if it's offensive to the Welsh or not. I can't imagine they'd be too bothered haha. I don't really care. I'm just saying that the club made a call, rightly or wrongly to avoid possible unrest in the crowd. Based on that intention - I feel the sentiment toward the club and people working within it, is an over-reaction.
  4. I think some of the vitriol toward the club on this issue is a massive over-reaction. Can see how altering the display is annoying, but really, the club are not out to annoy supporters or treat them like mere £ signs. Someone at the club, had the notion it might rile up away fans and cause trouble. (not a wholly outrageous concern given the history between the clubs). They then made the decision not to risk it. Whether that be correct or not is obviously up for debate but to label it a '**** up' and attacking individual members of staff at BCFC is way over the top.
  5. No need for that. Was a mainstay in our double winning team. Whether he is/ was or wasn't up to championship standard or not he still deserves a warm welcome back at the Gate every time.
  6. I felt the same. I think they could certainly stand to be dimmed somewhat.
  7. We were mentioned loads and referred to as the biggest result of the night repeatedly. Plenty of attention IMO.
  8. Only key differences between football here and abroad I see, is that you drink in the stands and that the tickets are cheaper (Germany). The atmosphere (no doubt helped by the drink and cheap tickets) is lead by key groups of fans who take in their drums and sing and chant the whole game. - They don't watch a lot of the football from what I could tell - maybe that's the difference.
  9. Beer at half time situation. As I asked in the stadium Q and A section which was ignored. I don't believe given the Season ticket fee, we should have to miss 5 minutes of the first half to get a beer at half time. Other countries use mobile dispensers to help this issue.
  10. I played. We got played off the park - were miles too good for us! Fun though! Got a few pics of the day.
  11. Storm damage is one of the most basic things insurance covers.
  12. Whilst I have been a little disappointed with his input so far it's really too early to judge him. He hasn't really had a lot of chances to score, he may be an excellent finisher just struggling for service. The only clear cut chance I can think of him having was at Barnsley and he scored.
