    - Conversations with OOC players haven’t happened as yet (I’d say that’s a lie…!)

    I'd tend to agree.

    - Medube - looked decent in training and might get an opportunity (I think that’s the second lie)

I agree again , otherwise he would have had a few more minutes at least.

    - “People misread what I say and don’t listen properly at times. I want players to be emotional but recognise you need to be in control and not make rash actions” In training gave bad decisions in game to work on reactions (I do that with 12 year olds so wholeheartedly back it!)

The comment of people not listening was a bit barbed - but it’s also no coincidence he’s got better at communicating as he’s got more relaxed and it was a large part of he wasn’t articulating as well.

Yep ,any misunderstanding is more to do with how he put it IMO.

    - Knights current position; has done a great job there, the group understand how to play positions now. Asked if it was a long term plan or had developed - said it wasn’t a plan long term and LM is adaptable and likes to tweak things. Knight is now running less/smarter.

I said when he was playing that 10 role, he was trying to do too much pressing, he was a headless chicken at times. I still say that role doesn't suit him and the deeper role is a much better fit. But what do I know?

    - Conway - no update. Want to keep him, he has an offer. Loves working with him. Thinks Conway has improved this season and should score 15+ a season, Twine helps that.

More service helps that wherever and whoever that comes from. Sound like he's placing all his cards on getting Twine.

Again, pretty relaxed (as expected). The comment of people not listening was a bit barbed - but it’s also no coincidence he’s got better at communicating as he’s got more relaxed and it was a large part of he wasn’t articulating as well. (And tbf I had noted I think he said emotion when he meant focus and he’s using it in a different context here). That whole section was pretty interesting and is worth a listen.

Thanks Silvio , I do struggle to stay with these Pressers so appreciate your work.

Sales confirmed as over 12k, there's not the impact so far

That's incorrect, it's already been confirmed that when the fixture list is released it'll show all the TV slots up to FA Cup 3rd round weekend

So basically up to the New Year's Day round of fixtures

I hadn't seen anything about either.

12k sounds reasonable , I guess we will get a better idea by Monday. What was the total last year at the start of the season ?

With the fixtures I assumed they would do the same as they do currently . At least there will be warning for most of the games.

  3. Looks like it's risen it head again.

I thought that was all over, but I guess there is no end to their money making ideas.
    First I saw this ...

Then a little search gave me this.

The Prem is a soulless pit of money grabbing,  self serving narcissists . They wont be happy even if they had all the money and there was no relegation and promotion . The fans stopped this once , they stopped the Super League , they wont stop these sort of ideas popping up every year or so.

The brutal answer is that nobody really knows until the fixtures are published in June

With Season Card prices going up year on year, the games being moved around making it harder for some to plan games and some would be able to just watch at home ?
I can only see a negative impact.

    EDIT;

Those fixture lists will be interesting. They will have everyone at 3pm on a Saturday to start , and we will have to wait until Sky feels fit to let us know when the games will actually take place.

Not looking forward to it in that respect.

I can’t agree with that. Unless you know you’re selling a “sure thing” then the proverbial bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. ST sales are guaranteed income and although they may get you less revenue then filling the ground with POTD, they are income you’re sure of.

If we could be sure we’d be top of the league and win every game 6-0 with people falling over themselves to attend it’s a possible business case to focus on POTD. But we can’t, and we won’t. Imagine phasing out season tickets then having a relegation season and what that does to income.

That was a strange one . Said they almost didn't want more season ticket holders .

That's great if, as you say people are falling over themselves to watch us. The revenue would be more , averaging 22k with 14k STH means 8k paying a premium . But at any given time , a drop off in results and form and they are the first to go missing.

I'd like to think they would see any fall in numbers as a sign they need to tempt more people to get a Season Card, if they think  the ones that don't renew will just go to games anyway,  they are mistaken.

I remember saving up for my first separates back in the late '90's in my early '20's. All from richer sounds, i bought:

    Arcam alpha 7 amp,

    Cambridge Audio CD4

    Wharfdale Modus 3 speakers

    It now looks like:

    Arcam alpha 7 amp,

    Cambridge Audio DAB500

    Rotel RCD-945AX CD player

Rotel RP-5300 DD Turntable (bought drunk from ebay for £13.50 - didn't notice it said for parts only. Turned out it just needed a plug and a new cartridge!)

    Mordaunt Short MS35Ti speakers

I have the Alpha 7 too.
Mine goes with a Marantz CD player CD6007 , Yamaha KX-200 Tape deck and Elatax Symphony 6 speakers.
I got the Turntable from Laskys, long since gone , the Tape deck was donated to me and the rest came from Richer Sounds.

Can't go wrong with B&W. Love mine. Had em for 20 odd years. Sound awesome.

Using separates. Dual, Marantz and Denon.

Had my stereo separates for 30 years now - an 'AKAI' - brand not as big as some of the others but its done what I've needed and has never malfunctioned (it cost me £600 in 1993 which was a big outlay back then).  The speaker cones perished in 2020 but had them replaced and its still going strong

    I can keep this going.
Got my first deck , Technics SL-D3 in 1980. Minor oiling and cleaning and it's still going strong and sounds great .
I should think so too , cost me over £100 on the "never never" back then :laughcont:

Could just be a confidence thing with Yeboah. He was in and around the squad, getting minutes off the bench, and is then farmed out to non league to make room for a loan signing who never plays. Can’t be doing him good mentally.

This is the other side of the disastrous signing of Mbude. Whoever had the final say has dropped a bollock here.

While it does seem a pointless loan , not sure that Yeboah being involved in 8 games and scoring twice is worse than being sat on the bench and hoping for the odd minute here and there. I think being in and around a promotion push in mens football will help him grow.

Obviously not good enough at the moment which makes it strange how he ever made our 1st team squad in the first place seeing as he can’t make the starting 11 of a sixth tier team !!!!

Bit harsh, but not totally wrong I guess. He's still only 17 and I don't think he's been available for every game there due to the U18 Cup run ( at least Transfermarkt has him not in some squads so I'm assuming ).
The bit's I've seen he's not looked out of place , but it is his first sort of run in mens football. He will be available for a League loan next season , that will be interesting .

  10. Lost connection just after the goal, typical.

Bath had chances , I would have liked to see Yeboah earlier , but from what I saw fairly even.

Is there a draw to see who they play, or has it been made ? Braintree V Chelmsford  would be a nice local derby.

Since breaking in to our first team he’s had a loan at Ipswich, who didn’t want to keep him, a move to Sheffield Wednesday where he fell out of favour very quickly (16 starts) & now he’s out in the cold at Charlton.

There’s a pattern, you asked if it’s bad attitude, laziness or Billy big bollocks?

It’s all 3, as @Northern Red said he’s heading out of the football league at this rate.

Pearson told him he was a waster, he was right.

Those spells where Pearson would ditch players, puts a responsibility on them. Some come back better (Pring) and others shrug and move on. He's not the first player with loads of ability to leave us and who's career just Peters out, it is a shame though.

No, I see it as a whole really. I respect all the club players ,staff, management, and owners, and I can see no reason why any one of those at this time deserve condemnation.

It's the only way forward, if you want to go in that direction, otherwise get off the bus.

That is some real North Korean type shit.

So I really hated Osman & Pulis , so I'm not a City fan ?

50 odd years following City around the Country , but because I thought Gary Stanley was useless I'm not a real fan ?

Sick of all the snidey posts tbh, just like a bunch of old 'wimmin' sticking in the boot when patently there is no justification at all, it says OTIB on the tin and yet some /most seem to delight in undermining this club and what it is obviously striding for. Is it a Bristol malaise that has to constantly attack individuals? The very people who have the best interests for Bristol City, I know football fans are fickle by nature but this forum currently is demonstrating a dislike for the club and most certainly the people who are employed by the club.

Dare anyone actually call out these posts they are quickly dealt with by a follow up of 's or face palms....or even memes demonstrating to me they have lost the argument and resort to basic trolling.

This forum must be food and drink to the other lot, FFS show a bit of support.

    Quick question ...

You do know you can look at the Club , the owners , the Staff and players as separate entities don't you ?

You can love the Club and really dislike and criticise any of the others , you really can.
